  1. "BP factory uses refurbished ETA movement the noob factory have new ETA" Toro you sure about that, I just can not see it w/ the Swatch group cutting off everyone slowly but surely noob is getting them........... :g:

I will say this though the Sinn in the raffle was from Toro it had a stem/ winding issue I sent to misiekped, it was Swiss looking good per him. :pimp:

Yes, I am sure about that as I am not only making reps I am into gens also which made in China and they all use gen ETA. The Swatch group is closed but wholesalers still have stocks for many years. The question is the movement new or refurbished/used. The problem is that BP factory doesn´t use Asian ETA at all, so don´t give you an option on swiss or asian.

Again, you check all the China made boutique brands they still have gen ETA in 2014.

  2. Guys, you need to face the facts, the Chinese can't get new ETA movements, the ones that are available are being snapped up by every boutique watchmaker in the world. All these folks are paying top dollar for movements. They can afford to pay 200 bucks for a 2824, because it's going in and 800-1500 USD WATCH.The Chinese may come across a few movements, but they are cannabalizing older watches for the movements.there are a couple of good Chinese movement companies. Seagull is definitely on a par with ETA.

Like others have said, DON'T SEND IT BACK!!! Get it serviced and it should be fine.. AFA the winding while screwing in the crown, that's not a movement problem, that's a stem length problem,or a crown problem and it can happen to ETA movements as well. A competent watchsmith can fix that problem at service. I wouldn't obsess over the way the movement looks, the best you could get in that rep is not going to look like an Omega movement anyway.

Stop spreading false rumours again. Yes, chinese can get new ETA movement. But there is factory and factory.

  3. I think for gen should be ¨never again¨ if for rep ¨never again¨ than this is not your place to hang out.

First you have to make sure you shipped it airmail with tracking number and one month is within a normal waiting time. Contact Josh to ask if he received it or not.

  4. Paypal refund the fees for a full refund. Dont know for a partial refund.

Paypal policy changed, partial refund OR full refund, there is a 4% PAYPAL charges, NOT the vendor

Only for professional account. With a personal account you cannot sell more than 5 watches a month, I hope this helps.

  5. That is very unfortunate situation, and the TD is me.

First we started with bargaining with the op, I kindly explained him I cannot do a lower price on this Rolex, than he paid.

After he paid he changed his mind to a v6 AP diver, than, he changed his mind again for the Rolex.

He asked further questions about the watch requesting more pics:

    - another date (not centered)
    - close-up pearl (cracked?)
    - clasp front and back with engraving

I said I will receive a new batch the next day and I can send him new qc pics, but he changed his mind again, this time for a refund.

The professional chinese pp accounts hold the 4% of the buyers fee. Again, pp holds it, and NOT the vendor, so it is not me who is holding it. In cases when the watch is not available or some similar situations I would pay those 4% from my pocket but in our situation the op is playing a hide and seek now I want it, and now I don´t.

My business is not based on cheating. I would not make up a story like that, ever.
