"Asian 23J" ist not exactly da calibre. Da calibre ist da manufacturer name and da numerical code dat ist assigned to dat particular movement.
A picture of da movement would be nice. Anyway der ist probably a little plunger dat if depressed, moves da stud on da setlever dat engages da stem for retention - out of its groove. Dis recessed plunger will be in some proximity to da stem. Alternately der could be a screw (da "setlever screw") dat by loosening accomplishes dis same task!

Springs and me still don't get along very well. Is the style used in the clone movement "old-school" or just a normal manufacturing variation?
old school with lots of variations. Dozens of different swiss cos. produced da anti-shock material (and most of dem don't interchange very well).

It's a "click spring".
stiff recommends that you use da larger screwdriver for this screw.

Your cannon gear is slipping, it needs a complete servicing, and restoring of the cannon gear friction.
"restoring of the cannon gear friction" = tightening da cannon pinion
stiff says dats pretty simple.
From dis far away stiff can't tell if your uhren needs da full "COA" or not. Fur de Valjoux, stiff thinks dats worth about 300E.

Crown guard lever adjustment

If da stem ist cut too long, da pilot shaft will "bottom out" against the main plate (or da retaining groove against da set lever stud when it reaches da end of its travel). In either case da crown gasket will not be fully compressed irrespective of how "tight" da lever action ist. For dis reason, da lever tension ist always checked with da movement removed.
How does your current water resistance compare to it's pre modification level?
