  1. It's the rubber strap. Just go for the leather one ( that looks like this: http://www.cqout.com/item.asp?id=6216273 ), don't sell it. You know you want the chrono You can also try the bracelet as it also rounds up tighter than this type of rubber strap. But the leather one wears the smallest.
  2. Is putting the DW assembly from the A7753 to the A7750 complicated? I've never done it, but was told it's a straight swap... That dial on the pics looks awesome, however if one is building a two-tone franken, the rep dial is pretty spot-on imo (could be wrong).
  3. That's what I was thinking... Have you ever thought about sticking with the rep dial, A7750 movement, A7753 datewheel assembly, but rep (A7750) dw ? Sounds cheaper and less hassle to me. You could also upgrade to ETA7750 anytime later for quality and still end up cheaper and less work than with ETA7753+gen dial. Just a thought. I still admire your solution though...
  4. What combo do we see on the pictures? ETA 7753 and gen dial ? I see the DW is not recessed...
  5. Hi,

I saw you have a breitling superocean heritage chrono on mesh. I have a 6.5 wrist which is a bit smaller than yours. Do you have the strap setted to the absolute minimum for your 6.75 wrist, or there is still some possibility to shorten it? Do you have the breitling clasp on or the default one for the mesh strap (I hear the breitling one is a bit bigger)?

    Thanks,

  6. Too bad I'm wearing it on my left wrist lol
  7. It went on for 47 hours and 36 minutes. So PR is good. I handwinded it fully again, atart to wear it. We'll see what happens. Thx for all your help!
  8. This minute it has been runing flawlessly for 36 hours and still ticking. Will se tomorrow morning when it gives up.
  9. Thanks, I'll look into this, if the above described test result turns out to be less than 30+ hours.
  10. So it has stopped again this morning at 3:29 AM. I've did what you told at 8:10. I did 30 full turns, as it got very hard arond 27. I've read that there is no such thing as overwinding the movement, but I believe it had to be at full already cause the crown started leave marks on my fingertips lol I'll update how it goes, thanks a lot!
  11. Depends on the strength of the move I believe it spins more than 1-2.
  12. I have shaken it for 5 minutes, so the power reserve mechanism had to be loaded more than ever before. I have pu it on my desk at 13:37, I will se when it stops.
  13. Hi, Thanks for the quick reply! I can feel and hear the rotor spinning.
  14. Hi, I've purchased a Tricompax Navitimer TT with the 28.8 A7750 a month ago from Mary. Everything was perfect until last week one morning I saw it had stopped at around 3 o'clock. I have given it a few gentle shakes, and it started right away, so I forgot about it (I told myself it probably didn't get enough wrist time the day before). Then another week went buy without a problem. Yesterday morning it stood still again, so yesterday evening I gave it a few shakes (about ten) before I went to bed at around 22h. This morning it was at 5:59 and not moving. However it starts up right away anytime I give it two or three shakes. What could be wrong? Is a few shakes not enough to charge the system to go on for atleast 10 hours? Should I give it 20, 30 or how many shakes to have it fully loaded and be able to see how long is the power reserve functional? To tell you the truth I was hoping for being able to not service the 7750 until the hype on the A7753s go down and get one for my Navi to solve the sunken DW issue. As I've read here that a lot of guys hace this 28.8 A7750 movement unserviced for more than 12 months without a problem...
