Count me in with the Pam lovers, this one is Total winner in my book. I would by the rep in a heart beat.
-
Nice mods... Now get some hi quality photos so we an all appreciate the true beauty!
-
I'm a custom strap maker & trusted (strap & acces.) dealer on RWG/RWI. So.. won't be contacting HKTan.
Very nice straps......... Obviously quality work.
-
Get a quality Hornback strap from HKTan or other strap vendor and that piece will be completely stunning!
-
Just get rid of that rep strap and get a quality hornback strap and you are all set.
-
I'm not saying you are being too picky, but I think the gaps that you are seeing at 25X magnification will look perfect in person. Actually I would not pass on that one, the markers are lined up about as good as I have seen on any of the V3 Divers.

It goes to show that for the untrained eye, the AP ROO's are pretty good out of the box. But there are flaws if you know what to look for.
I'm still quite pleased with the two rep ROO's I have.
-
The strap looks to be rep too based n the eBay photos. My votes clearly goes to 100% rep
-
No love from me for this model, but you like it and that's what matters.
-
All up for sale must have been sold?
-
ThereMaybe I am wrong then, or perhaps AP has used a new system in their APROO.
This is what I see from the construction drawing. It shows those are not bolts but rather is in tube from to hold the bezel screws.

That drawing is of an AP Royal Oak, not the ROO. See this tutorial for a complete teardown of the ROO: http://www.repgeek.c...ead.php?t=90314
Here is the ROO parts disassembled:

I'm going with Zorro on this one, since he has a GEN.@bert just your comment about gen aproo dont use the same bolts ..they are both same system used on the rep and gen ...don't know what your talking about male /female?
-
Love the watch........ but I would have gone with a Black Cro, the blue seems to clash with the carbon fiber.
-
I know a few people have made their own. Not sure if any one sells them or not.
You can DIY with a dremel and create one for yourself.
-
I saw it on another forum, very nice!
-
Gotcha.........
I agree, it is a very nice piece and quite a looker. I'm certainly in the market for one very soon to round out my AP collection.
-
Looks very nice indeed. How does the case thickness compare to the Gen?
-
how are the lugs of the ap diver? those were the biggest tells on AP roos as of 2 years ago.
have they fixed it?
Looks just fine to me.
Many are considering the new AP Diver V3 one of the best so far. The biggest tell right now is the blueish AR tint on the cyclops.

Looks a lot like the view in Cancun!
Wonderful watch and an awesome view.......
-
Not that surprising out of the box.

Zorro is the resident GOD of all things Audemars Piguet!
-
Torobravo - he has a forum here. He's a Trusted Dealer.
-
Have you tried Angus or Toro.
Not sure if they are still on back order.
Most people are just getting their V3, I would think sales are unlikely, but someone may just wan to part was with theirs.
Going to Bangkok, need some tips!

Oh yeah! I visited there I the early 90's and it was a blast. Bought my first rep Daytona there for $50. Had a quartz movement, non working Chronos and was a total piece of crap, LOL.
But I got some custom tailored suits and custom made 18K gold and ruby jewelry for my mom.
Also enjoyed a few nude full body ....errrrrr, massages.......
