I get the dreaded: "Not Found The requested URL /forum/index.php was not found on this server." I tried the link from the link section here with the same result. Are they down or have they moved without telling me (like my parents kept doing while I was growing up)?

One thing I have noticed with a lot of lume is that it is bright when charged, but 8 hours later you can't read it in a pitch black room. Great lume is super bright right away and readable after 8-12 hours!

I enjoy both. I mainly collect gens with a vintage flavor (ditto for clones) and the hunt for some of these has been very educational and in some cases, not at all easy. The reps that I have are on the rare side or crammed with difficult to OEM source parts. On both counts, the bigger the PIA it is to obtain or build, the more I enjoy the watch.
I seriously doubt I would enjoy a watch that was simply purchased with a CC at an AD. That would be boring indeed and just too darn easy to do.

rower, what happened to the original Tritium dial? Perhaps the photo is of a newer model as the Luminova dial is not a rlx service replacement. Nice Sub!
Good catch on the dial.
A few years ago, before I really got into collecting, the Tritium stopped glowing. I went into the AD and asked for them to "make it glow again". Really stupid on my part as they replaced my T dial with the one shown. It is a rlx service replacement. Love the glow , but miss my T-dial. The watch was from my wife back in 87 so it has alot of sentimental value to me. The AD gave me all off the replacement parts except the dial. I have a vintage bezel insert with pearl and the T hands...maybe a MBW someday.

I have a gen Sub from 1987 and tend to not wear it on a daily basis so that I keep it nice. I wear and enjoy my good reps.

I just got mine from Joe. I wish all my transactions were this smooth. Thanks again Joe. I can't wait to have this put into my Old Case Breitling ChronoAvenger.
Thanks again!

I hope that watch is water resistant!

I could tell a lot better if you would send it to me and lat me wear it in a variety of lighting conditions.
PM me for my mailing address!

PS: I'll even pay postage both ways!

I like it. I don't always want to wear what every one else is wearing. This reminds me a lot of Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh. I wish I could get one like it. I would like the Panerai logo on it though.
Great Job...wear it in good health.

I unscrewed the highest blue screw in the picture from my top picture and simply pulled it out (after removing crown guard).
Thanks.
More info needed. How did you remove the stem?

Some one please...I'm dying here!

I have a very dirty crystal on the inside and thought I would try to fix it myself. I got the case back and crown guard off and took out the crown and stem. THen I didn't know how to get the movent out to clean the inside of the dial so I stoped and put it all back together. Unfortunately, the crown will not go to the winding position it will only set the hands now. Is there something I missed? Did I mess this one up?
Thank you in advance for your help.

I just bought two noobmariners from Josh for a friend. I was really suprised by the change to the bolded date font. I purchased a previous one from him and it was a perfect date font. When I emailed him about the poor quality bold font his response was that it was a change to make it more like the gen! I also noticed that the date font sits too low in the window. This is really dissapointing...I have had better quality control from Josh in the past. Is his QC going down?
How do I obtain an overlay for the date wheel? Is it an easy fix?
Thanks for letting me vent and thanks for any help.

I walked into an AD in Schaumberg Illinois and they had 2 Pepsi Bezeled GMT's. Both of the bezels were off of alignment. I pointed it out to the sales person and she couldn't believe it.
I'd say its about the same quality control as one of our good dealers.

I really want to put this watch back into perfect working condition.

Some one must have these buried somewhere. Please!

I was fortunate enough to get By-Tors Pepsi Bezeled GMT. I would like to put the bezel back into working condition so I need the clicker, spring and retaining wire for bezel.
If anyone has these parts, please let me know.
Thank you in advnace for any assistance.

Upon everyones suggestion, I shot an email off to Josh. Much to my amazement, I got a reply within a couple of minutes. He asked me to send the watch back to him and we would work it out.
What a great dealer! I don't get that kind of service with my gens. I know where my future purchases will be!
