Anyone share my apprichiation for them, and care to show of?

Mine is modest to say the least, but still my favorite.

    Yuki hands

    Gen T19

    Gen service Insert

    Swiss 2846

Just looking to find someone to install my gen 7030 and 703.

  2. So, after two years of prime service my 5512 gilt chapter ring movement have run into trouble.

Its a Swiss ETA 2836-2 which now wont run. The movement hand winds but it seems that the energy stored wont be released. The winding is as hard as a fully wounded Crown and this doesnt change.

Anyone have an idea what might be wrong? I have some experience working with movements (keyless work etc) and would be glad if i could repair it.

If not, what are my alternatives for a new movement, ETA 2836 or maybe a slowbeat 2846? Anyone know of serious suppliers of those in these days?

    Kind Regards, Jon

  3. According to the GMT history guide

The 16750 had the acrylic crystal as well and was produced till 1988, with Quick set being the biggest Dif aling with gloss dial, and the sapphire

Crystal was introducera in the 16700?

So i guess inserts are identical on 17600 and 16750?

  4. Alright, i need to find à new insert ( all black) for à GMT.

I need to know which bezel inserts is compatible and correct for this model.

Its à pepsi GMT, production year 1989, with sapphire crystal and glossy dial with WG indices surroundings.

The lume looks like tritium since it

    Aint completely white.

According to my friend, the owner, the bezel is 2 way turning.

What part am i looking for when i search à black insert?

Is this enought info to determinate the part i look for?

    Regards

  5. Unless you really fancy them crownguards being perfect i would indeed tag along the many who already chose the 5513 Base from Joshua. Personally, i think a gen insert is a very good investment (hate on me if you like :D) in any vintage rolex.

Gen Thin Font Service Inserts are usually about 150-200USD. (These have no tritium pearl and often glows alot)

Medium fat font can be found for about 350USD, but usually without pearl (which is what the reps often miss on).

There is also the option to use a Poor mans watch forums insert (PMWF) at about 70USD + Yuki pearl (25USD) = very nice insert under 100 USD

  6. About 2 months ago i posted some questions regarding a 5512 Chapter ring i wanted to build.

  7. Josh sells the case you are looking for.

As for dial/hands, yukiwatch has them paired fitting ETA for about 160 usd.

À gen crown is in My opinion à Greta way to enhance the build considering the big crown on the 5512 from Josh, however, à new tube Will be needed.

Let me know if you have more questions!

    Regards
