  1. Eu, cousins ships to private costumers?
  2. So, for as long as i can remeber, the gilt Submariners has been my absolute favorite. Anyone share my apprichiation for them, and care to show of? Mine is modest to say the least, but still my favorite. Cartel base Ingod dial Yuki hands Gen T19 Gen service Insert Swiss 2846 Just looking to find someone to install my gen 7030 and 703. Cheers!
  3. Yes, the small piece between the retaining ring and the bezel on the old school sub vases got lost in an accident.. Anyone has a good source to get one or eventuellt one spare for sale? Kind Regards, Jon
  4. So, after two years of prime service my 5512 gilt chapter ring movement have run into trouble. Its a Swiss ETA 2836-2 which now wont run. The movement hand winds but it seems that the energy stored wont be released. The winding is as hard as a fully wounded Crown and this doesnt change. Anyone have an idea what might be wrong? I have some experience working with movements (keyless work etc) and would be glad if i could repair it. If not, what are my alternatives for a new movement, ETA 2836 or maybe a slowbeat 2846? Anyone know of serious suppliers of those in these days? Kind Regards, Jon
  5. All right, now i know what to look for! Thanks for all the help, fantastic amount of knowledge dwells in this forum!
  6. According to the GMT history guide The 16750 had the acrylic crystal as well and was produced till 1988, with Quick set being the biggest Dif aling with gloss dial, and the sapphire Crystal was introducera in the 16700? So i guess inserts are identical on 17600 and 16750?
  7. That would mean that 1675 inserts work and are correct? Afaik the Insert is same On both?
  8. Alright, i need to find à new insert ( all black) for à GMT. I need to know which bezel inserts is compatible and correct for this model. Its à pepsi GMT, production year 1989, with sapphire crystal and glossy dial with WG indices surroundings. The lume looks like tritium since it Aint completely white. According to my friend, the owner, the bezel is 2 way turning. What part am i looking for when i search à black insert? Is this enought info to determinate the part i look for? Regards
  9. Unless you really fancy them crownguards being perfect i would indeed tag along the many who already chose the 5513 Base from Joshua. Personally, i think a gen insert is a very good investment (hate on me if you like ) in any vintage rolex. Gen Thin Font Service Inserts are usually about 150-200USD. (These have no tritium pearl and often glows alot) Medium fat font can be found for about 350USD, but usually without pearl (which is what the reps often miss on). There is also the option to use a Poor mans watch forums insert (PMWF) at about 70USD + Yuki pearl (25USD) = very nice insert under 100 USD
  10. Alright, im in the process of installing a gen tube into a cartel 5512 case. How hard is it to redrill and retap correctly? What drill size and tap size is used for the 7030? Is there anyone in EU who could do this installation if i send my parts to the person? Regards
  11. This is highly interesting, studying the gen dials makes you understand that rather then being exceptional dials, the Snowflake reps dials benefits from the great majority of people not being aware of the gen details (fonts, spacing and such)
  12. Im fond of it! Actually i Will make the bold statement saying its probably the best ceramic custom build ive seen. This mix and matchning makes me wonder how it would look with tudor ranger hands!?
  13. Awaiting a gen 703 Crown now, any ideas to whom i should send the case to get a 7030 tube installed? Preferably in EU
  14. Yes, indeed a ETA, a swiss 2836-2 (still looking for a proper 2846-2). And as for the crown, amen, i hate the look of the cartel fat-ass crown, but cant seem to locate any decently priced gen crowns lately...head me up if anyone wanna sell
  15. About 2 months ago i posted some questions regarding a 5512 Chapter ring i wanted to build. Since, i sourced some parts including the key piece dial from inGod44. The images are completely crap, but i will upload better ones later tonight. Features: Josh 5512 Base Gen T19 Service Dome Gen Thin Font Service Insert inGod44 5512 Chapter Ring Dial Gilt 5512 Yuki Hands Vintage Leather Band. Waiting for: Gen crown Gen tube
  16. very nice! i like the special "Swiss made" print around the 6 index especially, fantastic watch! It seems to me the whole community has been bit by the Tudor bug lately, and it seems to be a desease here to stay!
  17. Impressive machine works indeed! Very nice done!
  18. That one is certainly good looking, i like the creamy color of the pearl especially!
  19. I use regular grit until the cyclops is gone, then some fine grit and a polish compound with a Dremel tool to put it back to shiny
  20. Ive built one myself using Josh case and Yuki dial/hands, no problems there, as long as you choose the ETA based movement and not the 21j (2813). Let me know if you have more concerns. Regards!
  21. Josh sells the case you are looking for. As for dial/hands, yukiwatch has them paired fitting ETA for about 160 usd. À gen crown is in My opinion à Greta way to enhance the build considering the big crown on the 5512 from Josh, however, à new tube Will be needed. Let me know if you have more questions! Regards
  22. i would like to share, but im in sweden. could you forward to me? ¨ Regards
