Dear guys, Where is the best and cheapest place to relume my UPO in the UK and how much does it cost? I dont want to ship my watch to another country!

anyone know about EMS shipping? My watch arrived at the delivery office in UK last night (after clearing customs).. when can I expect it at my door?

I decided I just want an AR job (chief or something) and want the hands, dial and pearl relumed (with superluminova?) I think the watch will look 99% gen after these mods and its much cheaper than buying gen parts. The lume effect is a big feature of this watch which cannot be missed out on! What you think?

Hi all, I am looking for a watch modder in the UK, somebody that is trusted by people on these forums. The reason is I prefer being face to face so Id rather find a local dealer that will upgrade my watch with gen parts, or relume the dial and hands, or AR coat my chrystal. please advise me on where to find these modders in the UK, thanks

Thanks for that info How much does it cost to fit these gen parts? The main concern for me with the UPO is the pearl and the lume. I dont care about the dateweel or the caseback as it hardly affects the visual appearance..

Hi all, I am trying to judge whether its a good idea and cost-effective to upgrade my UPO with gen: Dial Hands Crystal Bezel Insert Crown and Tube I want to know how much the installation of these parts will cost? Could I take it to a watchsmith and get my movement serviced as well as these gen parts fitted for the cost of the service itself (£50?) Can anyone estimate how much it will cost? Thanks

Sorry for this silly question.. but how identical is the franken UPO to the genuine? When you place them side by side would you be able to tell the difference? what percentage would you give it in terms of its accuracy to the genuine ? 100% being indistinguishable in terms of appearance and feel Thanks

Why is the bezel a problem? Is the replica lume on the pearl a different colour to the genuine lume on the hands etc? Im just trying to judge whether itll look stupid if I had genuine dial/hands and replica bezel (pearl) Thanks for the advice

It is a phenomenal classic watch. Thats the key I think, chose something that's ''future proof'' I heard all the gen parts I'll need will cost $350. (Bezel, Dial, Hands, Tube and crown, and crystal) I guess I'll first wait to see how I like the UPO in its original form, and judge from there if its worth the upgrade.. OH and how good is the standard waterproofing that comes with a UPO?

after replacing the tube/crown.. and assuming the movement (swiss clone) doesnt die.. Is there anything else that could go wrong with the watch over say 5-10 years? I'm just trying to work out whether its worthwhile investing in gen parts if so many things go wrong..
