It came with a stingray strap that was gaudy and blue - thought that might be worth something, then I found it on line new for $25 at IW Suisse. The brown strap with blue stitching is mine. Hopefully will go on a Pam 082. It's a lesson - don't be hasty and take your time buying watches.

I got ripped off. I jumped at it from a non-sales listing. One of those "here is my collection and I might sell some of them." All fuzzy pictures. I asked in a PM how much for the blue faced pam and I just sent the money. Got this watch. Cannot fault the seller but I still feel ripped off. I failed to ask the requisite questions. I guess I have no one to blame but myself. I flipped the CG because that was the side with the finished pin. Anyone do anything stupid like this? I guess lesson learned. How much do you think it's worth?

The 282 is 40mm and titanium. This is definitely 44mm and stainless steel.

I was just in AP at the Bal Harbour mall and of course the store was full of the usual octagonal faced AP watches. But they had two beautiful AP watches, both round cases. One was a chrono and one was a perpetual calendar. The cartel set has some round AP reps but they are all $118 crappy looking 21j reps. Are there any decent accurate AP reps in the round variety? Also when talking about the value of a watch, what about the features that you will never need. People pay $10,000 for a genuine Deep Sea Sea Dweller even though they have no intention of ever doing any saturation diving. How many helium release valves have ever released helium? Talk to the 600 or so saturation divers on the planet, how many of them can afford and wear a DSSD, and if they got one free, how many would actually wear it to work? They're all wearing Casio G-Shocks.

Now that is a beautiful strap - I have a rep 250 on the way from Connie King. I'd love to get that strap for it. Who sells genuine straps or replica straps if they look that good. -Josh

I have a BK DSSD and the printing on the wetsuit extender is not engraved and inked it's just printed on. Wonder what other differences BK has. Also wondering if a new bracelet from them would fit on my BK watch. -Josh
