Odd. Several years ago, I posted a thread comparing my disassembled gen 6239 pushers (removed from a sealed Rolex package) to Ofrei's (PD61.701) &, after sizing for my case, I could not tell the difference between them. You do know that the pusher stems must be cut & slotted (for a screwdriver blade) to fit your case?

If you have the original pusher, simply measure & cut the Ofrei to match it. If you do not have the original, install the pusher into the case & test fit the movement. Cut its length so that the movement clears during casing, but has sufficient length to operate the chrono when assembled.

Freddy, I lost the original pusher, unfortunately.  I will post pics later today when I have time.  I purchased a kit from Ofrei with different stems.  It's not the stem anymore - now it's the pusher itself.  It's not exactly the same. It will be clearer with pics.

Thanks for the advice, though.  It was our initial advice a year ago that led me to Ofrei's PD61.701 part.

I will have a look in my spare parts

    Merci beaucoup!

  2. I'm hoping this gets more visibility here.  I've been hunting for a replacement pusher for my v72 powered 6239/6240 for a while.  I'm on my 3rd attempt with Ofrei and still not perfect.

If anyone has spare parts out there, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Ofrei's 61.701 pushers are what I always use for 62xx non-Oyster Daytonas. Depending on your particular case (all rep/aftermarket case threading varies), you may need to tap the existing hole to make them fit properly or you may need to go 1 step larger in thread size if the existing hole is too large. In my experience, that is just the nature of non-genuine Rolex cases.

Freddy, thanks.  I might try a pair and see what happens.   I'm hoping I get lucky and have nothing to adjust.

That's a tricky deal. As I recall, the DW pushers are like a .20 pitch- 2.5mm and the Ofrei pushers are .25 pitch. So you'd have to retap the case with a 2.5mm x .25 tap (Rolex standard) if you use the Ofrei pushers.

And of course you can't get DW pushers these days. Good luck

    Oh-no!  That's not good news.

    Thanks

  5. So I took my v72 Daytona out of the safety deposit box today and put it on my wrist until I got back into the car.  On my way to the office, I looked down and noticed the hands had started moving.  Is this normal?  I've never had this happen.  This is a manual wind movement.  Is it possible there was some power reserve left ?

    Thank you all!

  6. I'm going to be selling some spare parts.

I just don't remember the source of the insert pictured below. I'm 95% certain it is from Phong but would like the opinions of the experts before I list it as such.

Now what about the crown? I think it's genuine.

Unfortunately can't find my iPhone lens adaptor for the pictures.

    Many thanks

  7. The problem is that wars are no longer fought as they were during the first two world wars. Also, with the constant Twitter feeds and endless news cycles, collateral damage is no longer acceptable.

Israel as careful and precise as they are often hit civilian casualties because the terrorists are hiding and firing within these civilian populations and UN shelters. Every time an innocent life is lost, the Western world is in an uproar and the terrorists are left to fight another day.

It takes courage. France, the USa and Russia hAve to get in there and bomb the [censored] out of Daesh and kill them all. There will be casualties and innocent life lists. That is unfortunate. Now is the time to act. Strike while the will is there and the people have the resolve.

  8. I can't wait until they rep this one.  For all the talk of the Tempus Machina, a beatiful tudor - under the radar - is as stunning.

As most WIS know, Tudor produced a Black Bay One - only one of a kind.  It just sold at auction for $373K.  That's nuts!!!

    Nice to have extra cash...
