Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's now been four years to the day that I found this wonderful forum. Words can't express my gratitude enough to all the members who have helped me along the way. I've learned so much, not only about watches, but also about friendship and generosity.
There isn't a better group of people on any forum on the whole world wide web.
In the immortal words of Andrew Gold:
ps - it's also my 1000th post!

They may have done very well with the other SOs, but I can't find a decent blue SOH or SOHC...
Here's a very nice one over on RWI

Very nice 1665!
I would love one of those with a slightly faded bezel insert.
thanks for sharing

I'm interested in this topic, too. I have a PAM dial I want to vintagize

Wow, just checked out your thread. I couldn't wear that while driving, I couldn't keep my eyes on the road. I would be continually swerving to the left as I gazed at it.I wrote about this Speedmaster here: http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/153807-ck2915-speedmaster-one/

Wowzers!
What an absolutely amazing watch.
I love the vintage lume and those hands.
And that movement! Stunningly beautiful
Enjoy it!

Why, oh why, do you find yourself in a 500L??
Love the Omega, though. What is it?

Did you see this one?
Might need some work, though

Next thing is I really like to see members pics with watch and car/ driving wheel/ console/gears - there is a mechanic association between engines/transmissions/ gears and automatic watches, leather and watch-straps.
Ya, I'm with you on this one. I like the association between cars and watches. I also think that you can learn a lot about someone by the watch they wear and the car they drive.

Ya, those are hard to find. After a year of searching i finally found a black V2 Swiss SOH. I'll NEVER let it go!
-
Here it is. Hope you figure it out.

Hilarious! I can't believe those kinds of mistakes still happen. Well, come to think about it I can... here in Taiwan, we see it all the time. They build a multimillion dollar building and misspell the name on all the billboards and flyers. They could just stop any random white person on the street (who will either be an engineer, a pilot or an English teacher) and ask if it's spelled right. It boggles my mind!

Pretty cool looking
What size is it?
Why does it have 2 crowns?
-
I will get it if they rep it
With how well they did on the other SOs, I can't see why they wouldn't rep this one.
-
ha, thanks mate

PM me
Ken
Hey Ken, what happened to the Replica Plaza website?
-
Sorry, I can't help. Nobody ever sends me PMs... sniff sniff
-
Striking watch, but a little much for this old fart.
-
I bought a few from them. I was disappointed even for such little money. My advice, save up and buy one nice rep. It's better than having 3 $hitty ones.
-
Yahoo!
I wore it today with no problems! Could it be true?
-
Thanks, I'll try wearing it again this weekend and see if it's okay. I'm pretty gutted about the whole ordeal.sorry to hear that the fix didn't help
