Yeah, that was an unnecessary insult.
It's not obvious that the large seconds hand only works with the chrono.
And it is certainly not obvious that to work the chrono you first have to unscrew the buttons.

DONE!!!
THANKS GUYS!!!
-
Man you guys are so helpful!
Thanks again... this is now my favorite watch And I have 2 more on the way :D
-
GOT IT!!!!!! YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING.... THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
So if I always want the big sendonds hand going, can I just leave the chrono running all the time?
-
That's funky.
Okay, so now the question is... how do I start the chronograph. The buttons don't appear to push in at all
-
Pull the crown out to the first click and wind it about 30 times or just start shaking it gently side to side. It should start!
See my post above
-
Yeah, I did shake it around quite a bit and the rotor was moving, but it looked like nothing was happening.
Okay... now I am soooooooo confused.
So I noticed it is working, i.e., the hours and minutes hands are working. And the seconds subdial is working as well.
BUT!!! the LARGE second hand that is attached to the middle main dial does not turn at all. Is this right?

I just recieved my second Rep, and for some reason it doesn't tick at all.
It's an automatic 7750 Pam 202. Is there something I need to do to start it up or something?

We did these this weekend:
My wife is 6 months pregnant with our first, hence the ? mark.

BTW if you really want to protect yourself, open a seperate account at your bank specifically for paypal, dump funds from paypal, then dump funds from one account to another. Paypal can't touch em then. Big hassle but if you sell for over $1000 regularly well worth it.
I'm not sure this is true. I think Paypal would just simply charge the account, even if it is empty, result in an overdraft from your bank. The only way this would work is if you just closed the account afterwards, but opening up checking accounts for every item you sell is a bit unrealistic.

So if you are restoring from a backup does that mean we will loose new posts today? I got an email that I got a PM but couldn't read it before the site went down. Will I never be able to view that now?
-
Email him. Let you know you'd rather wait.
I did. And I emailed him the night before about something as well and he has yet to get back to me. Starting to get worried...
It's my first dealings with him, I'm sure he'll come through. Maybe he's just not as up on email as the other dealers.
-
I just paid for a 005 last night, I'm hoping he will not ship it out until it has the upgraded dial, or at least send me an upgraded dial, if I get the old one and paid for it 1 day before he made them better, that would be pretty retarded.

Is that from a Gen Big Pilot or Rep?

I'll agree with Randy that Mayer's old stuff used to be better, I have not listened to him much these days. I was at his concert about a couple to 3 years ago, when he was the opening act for Counting Crows. Mayer got a lot of screams from the ladies, it would appear that he is a popular man. But having Jessica Simpson around his arms, I don't know if that is saying much, to be honest. She is a nice eye candy to a point, but not much beyond that. But yes, give props to the man having good taste in watches for sure.
lol, you don't keep much up on the celebrity news eh? The whole Simpson thing never happened, it was a publicity stunt by Simpson's publicist.

then he bends down real close and really looks it over closely and says "my God, that's a Red watch."
What does that mean?

Any chance you'll be allowed to take photos?

Looks really good!

His main PAM that he wears all the time is a Fiddy. He has a ton of different ones though, he is a collector. He has multiple Big Pilots, platinum and all.
His Fiddy has been around for awhile, can be seen on many different bands. I doubt the Fiddy was on a bracelet though, I'm guessing that was another PAM. He lately has had his Fiddy on a military style strap, one with leather underneath the caseback as well.
But yeah, the guy has a TON of watches, at least over a half a million worth. They are all so nice. He used to wear a Daytona a lot too.
Here's some more shots of it:

This is a wristshot of my 111h on my 7.8'' wrist.
I think the only question is ...do YOU like it?. If you do, then what the heck.... size dosen't matter...no matter what they tell you...
Big chronos or even PAMS on women.... I love that. It looks great and they (at least the ones I go for) don't have the powerlifter wrists.
There is a German saying..."Erlaubt ist, was gefällt!" (Whatever you like is allowed) or the more up-to-date tranlation "Just do it" - get a PAM, try it...if you don't like it...you can allways ship it to me...
IMHO that looks a little small even, you could wear a Fiddy really nice.

By-Tor, that second image, even though blurry, is perfect. That is exactly the kind of images we need more of around here. You can really get a feel for how the watch looks with a distance shot of that length.
Thanks!

It's up for me.
Make sure it's perfect-clones.com, not perfectclones.com

Here's a 47mm PVD Russian pilot on my V small 6 1/4" wrist!
Hey! That's my watch!!
You'll have an email Friday morning.
New Watch Doesn't Tick... Help?

So let me apologize for:
1. Trusting this site over random google searches.
2. Asking questions that are deemed "too beginner"
3. Pissing off dealers because I don't spend every waking hour studying watches
4. Having a "first" moment
5. Being so incredibly stupid that I couldn't figure out the chrono buttons had to be unscrewed.
6. Thanking everyone that helped me.
7. Donating to the forum as a gesture of thanks.
I guess I'm just a stupid [censored].
