Hoping for 5000 more posts from you Red.

New members that don't heed the advice given here will have to learn the hard way. Never made sense to me.

Wow, if it wasn't for the strap, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.
-
I ran into this problem too... but mine went beyond Subs. I wanted Subs and SDs. My wife said they all look the same but the problem is they are not the same!
Wait, there's a difference between Subs and SDs?

No rep my friend.... it's my first gen TAG
No wonder. It was too good. I was about to ask you where you got it from.

Great pic of a very very good rep. I bet most gen owners wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

When should I be expecting it?

As much as I like my SOH, I can't ever justify having TWO of the same watch (unless one is a rep and the other is a gen)!
-
If you didn't write that SOH review of yours, I wouldn't fall in love with SOH right away. Thank you Krpster!
Man, I wish I didn't sell my gen mesh bracelet... Oh well.
@Krpster, did you use a stock ETA 2824-2 movement in yours?
@Krpster--all SOHs will be inferior now...mine included.
@cougaree--That gen mesh bracelet you sold me is looking mighty fine on my wrist. I guess I owe you a beer or two for the SOH v2 as well. Where'd you get the zulu band? Might be nice to tone down the look every now and then.

Wow...there's something about the 3717-01 that makes my heart skip some beats.
-
Wow. Thanks for sharing!
-
Did you forget to lume the minute hand??
-
Got it. LOUD and CLEAR.
-
Nice! Did you ever find out what screw and clamp size to use? My 7032 is still on the back burner.
No...I left that to The Zigmeister to figure out after the servicing. I really need to learn how to service a movement!
Well done, mrboom, and welcome to the club!
...but you really want to top that off with a gen C128.
Yes, I know I know! I have gen 25-128 en route. I don't particularly want to shave the bezel, and I know it won't fit othersiwe so I'm kinda torn. Is shaving the crystal even an option or is that sacrilegious?
-
Whoa Ubi. Me likes that one! What would that set me back if I wanted one similar?
-
It is complete...well, minus the bracelet. A fully services valjoux 7734 movement with a 45m counter, yuki hands (min hand filed down), dw subdials with the black centers removed and polished (closer resemblance to gen) lumed by none other than the Zigmeister! It even has gen springbars as the rep ones are very poor quality. It's on it's way home, but I thought I'd share a pic.

mrboombasteke, What exactly is the 45m chronograph runner?
Have a read here:

Yes, that looks like 45 teeth to me on the runner to me.
Hopefully it's got the 45m chronograph runner as well. There's no easy way to tell looking at that pic.

YIKES--20 quid!! Hopefully someone else has had this issue already and can spare a screw. Otherwise, I guess I'll have no other choice.

I seem to have lost one of my lug screws for my PAM288k. After wearing it all week, my strap came off *just* as I took of my watch and fortunately it didn't fall off. Anyway, I'm aware Mary or any of our trusted dealers can get me a replacement lug screw. I was hoping one of our friendly members would have an extra they'd be willing to sell to me so I can keep wearing this beauty.
cheers,

Most of the 7032 dudes uses this one me also
ZK--What EL do you have on your 7836?
-
Smart. I meant 380s instead of 580s. Where did you source the 380s? Mary?
-
LHOOQ--any update here? What's the best fitting EL for the DW case? 580s?

Yes, W sold the gen mesh to me. He just had to one up me with the gen dial. Absolutely stunning I must say.
