  1. Hi all My brother-in-law also got fascinated by these high end replicas, think he got the virus from me , resulting in his first watch arrival today. I will wait for the 742 - Graphite dial, graphite sub dials, pilot steel strap (Red Automatic on dial) and then go for an immediate swap to the gen black leather strap I just bought.... man, if the 742 version ever hit the street .........and naturally the Steelfish with ETA...yummy!! Anyway I asked him to take some pics. Have read so much about the worries about the very (minor..?) flaws... (are the hands a litte dark..?) but anyway, a very nice rep from my newbie point of view. Comments appreciated.
  2. Hello Managed to loose my PO on the bath-floor, providing a nice, flat area on the Bezel. This lead me into thinking about swapping this bezel with a black one. From the pictures on Andrews site, this will make the watch look like the 2006 faced one. Orange: http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...roducts_id=1072 2006: http://www.trustytime.com/index.php?main_p...roducts_id=1070 Am I wrong? Do I need to change the strenght of my contact-lenses or what? Are the dealers normally so sweet that they provide such items?
  3. In that case, maybe this could be an option then?

    My Start

Hello Pugwash, first of all thx for many x-ellent and informative posts. Interesting in what way? At first I was really after a good Navitimer but got caught up in the large amount of reviews and articles, ending up with a desicion problem... When I stumbled over By-tor and the Best-Breitling-article I found that his Ti looked great with the camel leather strap. Just wanted to get the first purchase done. The watch wasn't disappointing in any way, but didn't make it for me...can't explain it any further I guess. Well, looks like it is going today, so now I'm diving into the Navitimer-search again.

    My Start

Well, I thought I'd share some photos with you. First reps, first photos, so bear with me on the quality, will seek to improve... First off is my very first purchase, a rather thick and big Breitling Ch Av Ti Front shot jesjesjes, it has a back too Btw think I'll let it go... Stunning watch but not for my wrist. Second purchase - Planet Ocean, 42 mm. And last but not least, IWC Ingenieur, maybe my favorite so far... All from Andrew, excellent service, good communication and fast delivery.
  6. Well, now I am calm. Fedex needed an invoice, so I gave them one, he he. The customs were about to contact the sender about this issue, no need for that.... What made me think is that Fedex stated that the customs after the "x-ray" was suspicious about the Probably don't need to describe it this well, Ken, maybe this is not the best way to pack these babies anymore. Also 3 packages from the same sender was something that made them Can't stop staring at these two watches, what can I say.... Ingy and PO both totally blew me off the chair Nothing wrong with my first replica (Avenger Ti), but the feeling of these two really was something else. Will post pictures, but must read the post about how taking good watch pictures first Thanks for all the advices.
  7. Ok, so I called Fedex - they have stopped the package for check, it was not cleared yet. She would like to put me through to the person actual handling my case, but I said, don't bother, I'll just wait for the clearance.... Guess I can wave goodbye to both the Ingenieur and the PO for this time. Well, if this is the game, I'll just have to live with it. I wonder what will happen with the package now... Funny, I was of the opinion that customs did their work, and that the Logistic company would mind their own business. How naive of me. But of course, It's hope in the hanging snore, as a legendary Soccer-trainer replied in the CL 1.stage some years ago...
  8. Thx Gunnar, panic has never been an option for me. Just a little when everything runs smooth as "snus" - and the customs suddenly being the slowest part in the prosess from China to my wrist. Jonas
  9. Excellent advice watchdude...hmm. No need for a plane though, as I live nearby. Still considering the over-confident approach, meet up in person asking WTF is taking so long. A package of 0,9 kg shouldn't under any circumstances take 48 hoursdays to clear, not even considering the competence level in Norwegian customs... Nah, think I'll sit on my hands instead.
  10. Well, this was really too good to be true, but now I could need some advice from my fellow members with more expirience than me. My last shipment seems to be stucked in customs in Oslo airport. What would you do when the status showed "Clearance delay" 48 hours after the shipment arrived final destination? a: call Fedex and ask them, or b: sit still and hope for the best
  11. Ok, didn't know that - ehhhhehehe, kremt, but whatever you say. Guess I've have to cancel my last order by Andrew then...hmmm but WTH, you guys are really the reason I didn't made anything foolish buying my 1.st rep from one of the Scam-sites out there.
  12. Sure I will take some pictures when I have something interesting to report. Fell that my purchases so far fall into the not-so-risky-zone, kind of "mainstream" after reading reviews, recommondations about accuracy-level and soforth. My strategy right now is to go for safety, being less than average on the tech/mod side, and from what I have been reading it's a good idea when available to go for the ETA-movements. From what my fellow norwegians says, servicing of a rep 7750 has no top-priority in the watchsmith-business around Oslo... or? What really impresses me is the level of engagement you guys show up for member no. 3K something. A warm welcome indeed, thx. No, Rolex isn't on the shortlist. Too "flashy" for me, although having respect to the hardcore Rolex-fans. When my last purchase is safely done sometimes next week, I will look closer into the Tag Link Chrono blue or grey, along with a decent Navitimer wich realy was The Reason I joined up for replicas in the first place. Still a lot of research to be done before that button goes down... Thx for the wallet-advice, in clear moments I realize that I passed the point of no-return at one point last week but WTH - let's all hope for a warm winter here in Norway with no need of new winter-tyres on the car. So long
  13. Hi all, my first post. Have been spending hours and hours on this site for the last weeks, reading, laughing and learning from you guys... so far it's been a real pleasure. As a 100% newbee I have totally been leaning on your common knowledge, which are impressive. So far it has got me into buying my first rep; one piece of Chrono Avenger Ti from Andrew - always liked the image of Breitling. Delivered 2 days ago, arrived at Fedex site 7 days after order placement. Excellent!!! Pressed the button on two others yesterday - PO 4. gen Orange, and IWC Ing... Let's hope that this situation don't get totally out of control Anyway I know myself; when I really get into something, that usually takes up a lot of time and energy for me. so I expect to spend a lot of time here. Rgds Jonas
