Have been looking for this some time now, but it always tend to come something in the way, like nice Aqua Terras, exploding Fiddys, etc Hope you give me a hint if you consider to sell it? Yepp, definitly consider it to be a close call. I have found out now that this is pretty common with the 127 and some other PAMs too. http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...mp;hl=explosion But changing the glass would not solve this problem alone, am I right? This can happen again anytime, and in that case wearing this watch would not be the same... Do anyone of the educated guys in here have a more permanent solution to the problem, other than throwing the watch in the garbage of course?

Yepp, both actually are true. Have done them separatly before without explosions... it may be the combination that took it!

The dealer stated that it was Curved Sapphire with light AR... This is the version with Swiss 6497, so it was not the cheapest one either, will wait to hear from my dealer, he is a good guy.

As some of you may have read I bought myself a beautiful PAM127 from a respected dealer here on the board. Got it just over a week ago, did som mod to the strap, and was very happy. This sunday morning I needed something to cheer myself up so I picked it out of the watchbox. Well I sit on the toilet doing what people do there... And then; PIINNGGGG!!!! The watch litteraly explodes, glassfragments going everywhere, even in the underwear! I found glass more than 5 feet away. I did not believe my eyes, and are still kind of Has any of you fellow members expirienced something like it? I have worn this watch on two occations, trying to make it shrink into my wrist. A big baby for sure. I have never lost it or something. It looked in perfect shape until this incident.... Will contact my dealer to see what he says, but wanted to share this hoping to hear how you would have dealt with this. Rgds Jonas Before the action started:

Vel, som jeg sa i PM'en så opplevde jeg akkurat det samme som deg, bare med TWG. Sporingsnummeret virket ikke, og jeg ba han sjekke om det var riktig. Det var det, 100% sikkert var svaret. Det endte med at jeg etter 14 dager fikk beskjed om at den var sendt tilbake. Den ble deretter sendt på nytt med TNT, og da var alt ok ila 3 dager. Venter ennå på en pakke som jeg ikke har fått hverken sporing eller noe annet på, men tar det rolig foreløpig, selv om det holder hardt da jeg er en av de mest utålmodige jeg kjenner... Det virker som det ordner seg til slutt, det tar bare lengre tid, men skjønner likevel at du er bekymret, Insane.

Well Slay.. I followed that post, and I must admit that I have made my thoughts about how much money it will be possible to make on reps... but it strikes me every time the $-signs start to appear in my eyes.. there are costs involved here that we do not know how to calculate.... bribes, stockholding, returns, fraud, the operational risk of being shut down... not something I would like to have on my mind when I laid my head on the pillow for the night.. would have developed a serious drinking problem pretty fast I think I'm happy to be in the ordering end of this chain for now.

yep, 22/20 it is. very nice with leather, no doubt about that. As I have stated before; my genuine leather strap is longing for the right version of this beauty.....or the Steelfish, whenever we are about to see that one...

Well, it is on the Breitling site now, in fact it's the first watch to show up when you choose the Windrider--> Chronomat Evolution, think its named 742 in the Chrono 07... And I want it sooo bad myself, my gen Breitling leather strap is crying itself in sleep every night, ugly story with X-mas coming up and everything!

Haven't seen any from Norway before this. Btw not much activity going on in the Breitling area compared to many other brands like Panerai etc. Agree about the love/hate thing, I myself definitly love the brand. Think it's both form and function in these watches. The last 2 weeks I've had the Breitling Catalogue within 40 cm from my office laptop. These days the gen Skyracer from a fellow member here is a favorite. Like you ChrGod, I'm waiting for the Steelfish, constantly checking dealer sites, rwg etc. Even did a search on ebay, and found this one But buying a gen when the oncoming rep looks so promising?!?...no, no, no. I'll wait!! After all, it's more or less like christmas eve, waiting is part of the fun.

Will make him do some wrist/shots, without use of flash...maybe give him the x-ellent link to "how to photograph watches" as well Just hope that the 742 or the Steelfish hits us any day now, I feel the need, the need for...ehh well.
