Has someone asked king whether the OMEGA logo on the dial is printed or in chrom? The close-ups are not good enough.
My impression is that the Trusty's version is overall more precise. At least, as far as the exteriour looks are concerned.
But the logo placement is a real eyesore, from my point of view.
Hers is a 42 mm version.
"Professional" is engraved on the 45 mm version.
The Omega logo on the dial is a way off.
The serial number (or whatever it is) is not centered on the bracelet.
It IS obvious that the date window should be set further from the edge.
I was just kind a surprised that the distance b/w the omega logo and the word OMEGA, which is not movement dependent, would differ as well.
It's not a new model but as for the reasons we all know there are not so many picture posts on the board,
I'll go and present the watch. I hope you won't be disappointed.
FRANCK MULLER
CRAZY HOURS
Size: 32 mm x 43 mm.
The watch has a pretty good overall quality.
The back is nicely engraved.
I wouldn't dare to compare it to the real thing but it does make a good impression.
Have I already mentioned the numbers and the hands are luminous? (in comparison to other crazy hours reps)
The only thing which I don't like about the watch (apart from the strap) is its buckle.
It doesn't have a logo and has inferior quality from my point of view.
Funnily, there are hardly any FM reps that have a decent clasp or buckle.
The sad truth is there is no rep with a moon phase dial as yet.
But if it is not important to you who the producer is and you can live with a somewhat higher quality of the watch buy one from Junghans.
It cost about 250 euros.
Another downside: you'll have to forego the thrill you have when there's a chance the watch can be confiscated.
I believe as well we'll see a rep with a working moon phase dial either this year or the next one.
