  1. I ended up selling my tri 024 for $3500 on TZ. The tri was starting to crumble in spots and the ass who I bought it from never told me. Thankfully he keeps using me as a reference so I get to kill some of his sales here and there.
I took a $800 hit on it in under a year.

Anyway, scour TZ abnd then check every 6 hours and you might get a deal.

  2. On another note ..be very gently with the quick date change.... if you can... avoid using it... they are reknowned for breaking and you wont fix it.... I think someone like Domi can make it more robust as long as its still working...

So there has been no improvement on this since the launch? I've been waiting, thinking they would eventually sort it out. Bummer.

  3. Would be nice if they rep it. But then again it would take alot of time until they produce a decent rep (probably v3).

I don't know about that, they already have the watch done perfectly, they just need to nail the bezel. I would expect it will be near perfect right away if they pay attention to the ticks. Maybe the CB could be off but I never pay attention to the back anyway.

Edit- I didn't realize this was 47mm. You may be right.

  4. Yep. Bell & Ross and Porsche Design watches don't seem to float peoples boats, which is a shame. They are less common, and less expensive to own the gen, so less likely to be called.

The popular reps that are built with reference so dissected gens (you know, the ones that say 'Superlumed with pixie dust' or ' AR done by Kristin Kreuk's bosoms') always have a tell on them. I've handled gens of BR02 and BR03s in Geneva airport and mine come very close indeed.

P.S. No way my wrist shot is going to be as good as yours!

  5. So my watch arrived today! Looks great. Really surprised considering how cheap it was. Tried it on, felt good...then I took it off and the strap popped out of the case!

Looks like I just need to tighten the strap screws. Anyone know what size screwdriver is needed? I'll have to make a trip down to the DIY store!

    Thanks.

    Congrats on your watch.

A great first lesson that thankfully happened right away. Always check your screws immediately. I personally don't use loctite but I know many members do. And watch those rad screws, very hard to position and screw in without stripping and very easy to lose.

  6. A year ago this would have been a really nice purchase, though the pin looks pretty off to me. Beyond that, it's fine. The issue is the Noob is so good that this pales. The other issue is you can't find a noob anywhere so this will have to do. The noob is so good that I would consider selling my gen 111 if I could get one.
