Rocking this combo at the moment
-
I always enjoyed your posts, congrats
-
Bazz you are a tease, i just changed my desk top to that close up shot, if i had that watch i would wear it back to front!
Shoot me a PM with your email if you want it in higher res.

No worries Beano, glad you got it sorted without any dramas. The one you screwed back down is the crown wheel and it could have been that the ratchet wheel or the click, you have to watch the crown wheel as it has left handed thread to stop the screw coming loose as you wind the watch.
And as for that movement, well it's just gorgeous!
-
Should be an easy fix if that is the case.
I have attached a pic of a similar movement pointing out the click, it's job is to stop the ratchet wheel turning back after winding. When it is operating properly it should make a clicking noise as the ratchet wheel teeth turn past it.
-
How do you mean slipping? when you wound the crown was it turning back once you let go?
Hard to tell from the description, could be that the click has disengaged from the ratchet wheel?

Finishing the week with this one

Glad to have this one back on after Chieftang's last run,

Nice one D. you seem to have a lot of nice modded pieces coming back recently
-
No wrist shot sorry but had this one on today.
-
Good to see you back Ubi! I missed seeing those two beauties, today I'm wearing this one.
-
Looks great
A white dial and a smaller crown would also look good with the bracelet.
-
Good to see ya back, hope you feel better soon
BTW did you end up getting your eyes done?
-
This one today

@Ryyannon: ...Go to coffeegeeks.com. Those people make US look like Stepford Wives.
I love a good cuppa and have a Rancilio Silvia and a rocky grinder but I mean how much can you talk about coffee!I feel a lot better about my watch neurosis now

My only one
Gotta love looking at that movement!

Heading out soon sporting this one,

This one today

Starting the week with this,

TJ it is down to the quality of the application technique, I was just trying to illustrate the differences, if it makes the dial look blue/purple it is not a true AR coat.
To bring it back on topic I am pretty forgiving of minor faults, half the fun of this hobby is trying to correct them but I cant stand faux chrono's!
