Thanks for the tip...will let you know how I made out after I get my rubber
-
I've tried that, but to no avail...Do you push the spring bar in and just pull outwards or is there something else?
-
I would recommend the Brietling steel fish for which Angus gives a 1000m guarantee but I think its a bit more expensive.
-
Just wondering what other people where hoping to get so heres my list, in order
1. BR-01 92 Black PVD/White numbers on rubber strap
2. Breitling Chronomat Evo Greydial w/ black gen croc strap and white stitching
3. IWC 3717 chrono with OEM Kevlar Strap
4. Panerai Ferrai Chrono with rubber and racing strap
5. Brietling B-1 Gen black dial/black calf white stitching
6. PAM212 on carbon strap(when hopefully a better version comes out)
The Chopard GT XL MM was on my list untli i heard about the jerky seconds hands which apparently is running off the chrono

I'm going to getting the 22mm rubber strap from silix and was wondering how to remove the bracelet. Is it possible with a jewellers screwdriver? Thanks!
-
Is the 036 still supposed to be the most accurate PAM rep?
-
So does anyone know how to remove the bracelet on the 45mm PO? Point me to instructions maybe? Thanks!
-
Perhaps the replica watch case is not really 1:1, or perhaps it needs access from the back where the stamped "screws" are.
I think the screws on the back are just for the strap lugs. You get a table attachment for the BR-01 and I think you'll need to remove the lugs for that.

I've been wanting to get this watch since it came out in the 1:1 46mm version but hte only thing holding me back is the movement. My question is..
If I wanted to swap the movement out with a better one what are my options and how much would that mvmt cost. Or do you think the mvnt as of now is fine...
Thanks!
-
Cool... let us know what you come up with. Perhaps a group buy? I'm definitely in for a kevlar or carbon weave, as well as a solid non-tapering black leather.
Yep, looking for a kevlar was well.

I have ordered the black/silver version from Andrew myself. I should have it in a week or two I hope
I have a friend who has the graphite version and he loves it, I am glad I recommended it to him
. The subdials are a slightly different colour, but it is hardly noticable. I ordered the black/silver version because I prefer the contrast in colour.
Cheers
Why is there a such a delay on the watch? I thught Andrew was pretty quick?
-
Looks great!! I think leather with white stitching would look even better...anyway that was going to be my combo...
-
That Aerospace looks amazing!
-
Has anyone posted pics of the silver subdial and normal bezel? Those would look good!
-
I concur.
-
Also someone was saying that the dial might not line up with teh date window as the gen window might be closer to the 3 position...any merit to this?
-
I was thinking of getting the dial and hands for my 45mm PO from Ofrei and was wondring if the hands and dial would fit? Is the dial a genuine Omega PO dial and have the correct lume because they dont mantion that as they do for the hands? The dial size is also not mentioned so I dont know which the 42 is and whcih the 45 is.
Also I'm pretty sure it has an ETA movement but when I manually wind the watch there is a slight grinding noise like two plates are sliding against each other. Is this normal?
Thanks for the help!!
Edit:
Another question: My PO(with orange numerals/black bez) has the metal logo right now but the one at ofrei has the white logo...thoughts?
Heres the link http://www.ofrei.com/page1123.html

Shlutz? Who is that?
Better let shultz reply:
There is no contrast on the dial like the real deal. The pics are damn clear and I assume the dial isn't close to the gen. Just my two cent.
lol...Sorry
. I know the pics are clear but I'm just hoping and wishing that the colors came out wrong or Angus photographed the wrong one
...but yeah, that just wishful thinking cause I love the grey dial!
-
Can someone post a pic (thats not on the Breitling website) of the grey dial with the black strap and white stitching? Thanks!!
-
Wonderful pics! As far as I can see my pre-ordered grey/ black EVO is way off. Probably I will choose the grapphite version instead. That chrono is a beauty, really
Shlutz,
Why do you think the grey dail w/ black subs is way off? Is it because of the pics Angus posted or somthing else? I was looking to the grey black too...
Beautiful watch btw....

Excellent! Do you know how much the swiss is going for? I've been looking to get it for a while, only with a better movement.
