  1. Hello, especially to my Norwegian friends,

If anyone has seen the movie Hodejegerne or Headhunters as its known in the English speaking countries, I am sure you would have seen the beautiful Gold Hublot on the hands of the protagonist Aksel Hennie. Can anyone please tell me the exact model??

Its a great movie btw and I love Norwegian films. Also loved NOKAS, which was about a bank robbery. Great watch.

  2. OH I see, well when I messaged my TD Andrew from Trusty time he said you only get the dial and not the tachy ring so I wanted to check if they went together in terms of colour? But if you say that both are availabe now then its fantastic!! Could you tell me which dealer please?

  3. The Breitling AD here in Aus is yet to dignify my email with a response... Just wait and see what a croc and a deployant will cost here. I spent some time in Germany over the last few years and bought myself a top of the line Hugo Boss suit, a "Jam/Sharp" for those in the know. Full tailoring, sleeves, pant length AND the lats taken in a touch, tailoring all inclusive, from the Flagship store in Berlin, mind you. 500 Euro (about US$600), free tailoring included (a bit of charm always helps out with the ladies, the tailoring I later found out was close to 70Euros on its own!). I saw the same suit here in Australia, from a Discount Factory Outlet for couture brands, strewn on some nondescript shelf. ... Wait for it... AUS$2500! (US$2000)!!!

This is what we are used to contending with here. It's utterly ridiculous. You guys in the EU and US have it easy, I assure you. Spend some time in Australia with some slightly refined taste in clothing and you'll need to take a second job (or sell a kidney!) wink.gif

Hahaha if only I had a flair for the English language like you I would have written those exact words myself!! At least there is some one who understands my plea! Australia is ridiculous , out right ridiculous !!!

  4. Hello Guys,

I am hoping to buy a Bentley Flying B soon and would really like the gen Alligator 24MM strap (761P) for it. However its really expensive without digging too much in to ebay or other forums for better deals. I wanted to ask what would be the best alternative to this which comes as close as possible in appearance and quality to this strap. I will be putting a deployant.

    thanks

  5. WTF is the difference...???....

If it's a watch you like, buy one........This whole "superrep" BS is asinine IMNSFHO!! :bangin:

Mate did you not automatically get the honorary membership of the OCD Club when you joined RWG??? the only thing that sets us apart from the human race the the neverending quest for that superrep!!!!

  6. Guys today I saw one gentleman wearing a beautiful Panerai, however I was not able to identify the watch. I can describe it for you so may be I could fine out what it is.

So it was brushed case (not the 1950 style but the normal one) and bezel. The dial was either blueish or greyish or just black but I dont know why it feels like it had light blueish appearance . However the seconds subdial was white/silver in colour. Also it had all the numbers written from 12-11 but I am sure 12 and 6 were in bold and had bigger font size. It also had a date window with cyclops. It was a beautiful watch and I am sure it was a gen.

    Any thoughts?

  7. Thanks Pete I was thinking as to why these werenot discussed as much as the noob factory products...... any particular problem with the Movement and the xtal?

And like you said the case is indeed quite beautiful ....shame you had to get rid if them!
