  1. Hi guys of late I have seen a few new pam on trustytime like the 212J and 308 Regatta Chrono. They have side by side pics on the gen and look very impressive. However I wanted to know if the 212J fell in the super rep category? I love the 1950 style case on it... Cheers

  2. Hello everyone.. this may look like a repetitive question so I do apologize about it. I have done a little more research and wanted to check which would be my best choice in the 1950 case style. I know

    1. 127 and 217 are good but they are 47 mm

    2. 243 is also a super rep but its Submersible

    3. I love the 312 or 320 how ever they are not super reps!!

Any input would be appreciated .. as, may be I have missed out something. thx

  3. The 187 is a 47mm. and although not this one I got to wear the gen 305 (sub and 47mm. too) that I really love. My wirst is 6.75 and the 305 was too big for my taste, however the 243 wears higher but somehow smaller than a regular luminor as the dial is smaller due to the bezel being larger.

Now that I put it in words it does not make much sense as the 305 has a larger bezzel too but the overal size of the watch really pulled me off even if I really, really love that one.

Hope to help here but not sure right now haha... lets say it's a bit late!

Lol I know what you are saying... IN Australia its even hard to find people who have reps and barely any GTGs so I guess one learns from trial and error!! thx for the update mate

  4. I have both the Asian 243 v.2 and the 029, this las one with the ETA movement, both from Noob Factory. They are fantastic, I have gone to the AD and have played with the 243 (they did not have the 029) and some others I intend to buy as reps. What can I say... both have a very gen feel... I do have some pretty expensive gens too and I still wear these two the most for the past 6 months when I first got the 029.

If you just want to have a great rep OOTB, almost indistinguishable form the gen, get some of the closed caseback ones as the guys above me have pointed out.

Excellent... thanks mate. I really want both I like how the dial of the 187 looks but am worries about the size .. but then again like the 243 for what it is!!

  5. The 243 Noob is ridiculously good. I have always been partial to the 187....one of my first franken builds. But I have not seen the rep in the flesh and there may be a date changer issue. On the 243 you can plug and play a gen dial or gen movement with rep datewheel. you don't need both. You do with the 187. The 187 wears much bigger...closer to a Fiddy. So I would say for everyday wear go with the 243. In the real world I do consider the 187 the iconic sub. I have thought about buying the gen. I remember when Aaron and his brother (on the forum) both bought gens right about the time the original Honpo's came out. Long way of saying I prefer the 187 but I haven't seen the rep and the 243 is more wearable on a daily basis.

thanks for that mate... makes sense now ... I do have small wrists.. and talking about both .. they are watches which I will wear when dressed casually and they are a thing to be proud of and so the "flaunting factor" comes in. Now if that is the case I dont know if the 187 would look really huge!,,I suppose you have said the 243 is more wearable!

  6. Don't get me wrong, I think it is BS that they make such a big mistake and would never accept that as a valid excuse. QC is QC, but yeah I would wait until the TD's start selling this. No ways I would buy from this person.

Yeah 100% I agree.. I just hope they come out with it !! fingers crossed

  7. SO guys I have 6.5" wrists and have fallen in love with 187 and 234 I like the nice little circular pearls and steel lining on 243 and like the busy dial of 187 !!! Errr what do I do??? would the 187 look ok on my wrist. Mario can you tell me the size of your wrist plz and how you feel about the 187??

  8. I think the 029 is one of the super rep as has been mentioned. The 005 can be had for under $220 and IMO it is the best in terms of long term as any movement replacement can be done easily and cheaply without the need to buy an engraved movement.

Yes I agree.. I have the 318BB which is about 1.5 yrs old and was my daily beater... really great... but I have a sudden love for noob 187!! Thing is that I have 6.5" wrists... any thoughts??

  9. It's really quite amusing. The people designing this probably don't speak english so they don't really notice the huge impact a missing line on a letter makes like we do. Fight and Eight are so different to us but probably seem as similar to them as this does to us: 還有這顆別緊張 還有這顆別緊

I know where u are coming from and you are right in your opinion, however I personally feel that this is a multi-million dollar industry and I would only expect such mistakes from "fake" market or on real cheap fakes/reps found on the road side in many Asian countries not on Replicas of the repute we deal with on these forums..Thats the only thing that makes me think this could might as well be a scam of some sort...just saying.

  10. Perhaps it is the spelling that is holding up our TD's. They produce a bunch of Fight days movements that is not OFFICNE.

Big problem for the TD's as they will not buy the movement.

I mean all I am saying is, and I am not a very intelligent man, how the fuc* can you mass re-produce/replicate a movement and have such a big blunder!!! its literally monkey see monkey do.........And if that was a prototype then its a bigger disaster!!! I am confused!!!!!

  11. Spelling mistake on the movement OFFICNE...lol.....FIGHT DAYS....lmao

    What a joke

Yeah !! wtf is happening there? I doubt this whole thing. and etatw is a bit of a bullsh*t artist himself. I would doubt it until a word from Andrew or Angus comes....?? what do you guys think?? (and plz the spelling mistake on the movement!!)

  12. Wow that looks really good mate.. thx for the pics... so if thats the case the 320 is a good choice coz it has the extra hand that makes the dial a little busy and I like it. But perhaps like you said I might wait and see if the newer versions come out with the rep P 9000 movement. Hope noob maker looks into a possibility!!

  13. I think you answered your question in the other post on the 320GMT.

These 300 series 1950 case style are all flat crystal. You clearly like the idea of a bracket so just go for it. Certain members are sensitive to the incorrect movement , to me its not really an issue and I really like the distinctive case of my 312.

Given the recent news of the replica P.9000 looking movement there may be some of the older style domed crystal models that might see the light of day, but quality yet to be determined.

Thanks for that mate, I was thinking that the 320 had a doomed crystal in the other post? Also on puretime website they say its doomed and hence the assumption. Yes indeed the 1950 case style is very impressive. Pardon the ignorance but when u say incorrect movement do you mean the GMT function on working like in the case of the 320?So you would suggest the 320 as a choice given the parameters?thx Trooper cheers.

Sorry forgot to add I prefer the leather strap but like the case style in the video so I will be going in for the leather strap..thx

  14. greekgod, i do have a small wrist.

i even need to punch-hole another extra hole on the strap.

yes it is looks 99% like genuine, i didnt say its 1:1 because the GMT is not functioning as genuine one, and its not superluminova yet, looks bright only for the first 30 mins, after that it faded really quick

my PAM 111 is still glowing after 3 hours (in total darkness)

yes, the shiny hands really makes it looks more BOLD :) i like this type of hands

Thanks for your reply mate. So the GMT is for show only? Do you recommend any other model with the same case and hands in that case?

  15. [media=]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZNcf5o9N3WA

HI Guys looks like I am back to Pams with BANG. I really liked this pam with brushed case and polished bezel. Also the size and shape of this is different from my Pam318 I am assuming. Is this the 352?

Can someone please tell me if there is a super rep of this model. Also I really like the Pam 320 which seems very similar to this one in terms of the case size and style with the shiny hands and date display. I am really interested in getting a one of these and would appreciate any info here please.

Ah forgot to mention that I like the domed crystal style.

  16. Why do you say it \'s not 1:1 it seems really good. Also just wondering if you have smaller wrists or is the watch really big compared to any other 44mm PAM. I really like the watch and was wondering if this si similar to Pam 352 or 351. I like the brushed case with the polished rim and shiny hands as opposed to black coloured hands..any input?

  17. To all the above posters.. thanks very much for the insight... it would have taken me some time to figure out all that...MY first rep was a Pam btw 318 Brooklyn bridge... but then moved to APs and Brets... I am looking seriously into pams again.. Oh and JLC :) ..Thanks again guys... Battler thx for the extensive choice .. Cheers
