Been too busy over at TRC?
That too, yup - but at the moment I'm also spending quite some time at genuine watch boards since the gens have caught my attention lately
I've bought a Breitling Colt Auto II some time ago and I am constantly on the lookout...
I guess that's it more or less.
How are things over here? Did I miss much?

All the best to you! Have a good time
-
LOL! I guess I'll have to visit more often... I love this kind of threads
-
Dead for me too.... no idea what's wrong.
-
I've met up with Cerberus2002 (oops... repaustria now) and mr1973... and I must add that those two are great guys indeed
-
OK boys.... forget about that stupid nonsense posts.
Gimme all your Cash and that's it. Take the easy way.

Another one in the family Seiko Black Ti Atlas LE
Nice watch Gunnar.... but you can't really compare the Atlas with the MarineMaster - that's a whole other ballpark.
-
Wow, that's really something new. I didn't know that fakes are being sold at eBay.....
-
Here's a couple pics of some Seiko vintage divers from my collection
Nice collection longshot. Kudos!
-
The MarineMaster (along with the Grand Seiko) is one of the best watches you can get. Just that Seiko is known for cheaper watches (at least outside of Japan) doesn't mean they aren't capable of producing highest quality timekeepers.
The biggest disadvantage is in fact that you have to send it to Japan to get it properly serviced.....
-
Seiko divers are all homage Subs and can be very nice indeed. Check http://www.makedostudio.com/watches/seiko-divers/
This, my friend, is complete [censored].
Btw, @2005SUBMARINER:
You should expect to pay about 1500$ to 1800$ for it. It's only available in Japan or in some online stores.....
-
That's not only a good looking watch... it also is perfectly manufactured and has the 8L35 caliber if I'm not mistaken. That's (almost) the same caliber as used in the Grand Seiko (9S55)....
A fine timepiece which is absolutely comparable with the Swiss brands, if not even better.

Welcome back palAPtine
Good to hear you're back!
-
Wonderful pictures!
-
it needs a lube regardness, the rotar could be heard
clear across the room...
Oh, it's perfectly normal for a 7750 or 7753 when the rotor is quite loud - even when they're oiled properly....
-
Maybe you got a bad assembled 7753.....
-
All the best pal! I'm sure you'll do well
-
Kinda surprised that bricky dealt with cathi
It was pretty early after joining RWG.... and I of course got her name AFTER sending the payment. Luckily I got at least something.
-
Yea, that's his correct mailing address....
Well... why didn't anybody already visit that guy and paid his respects? Obviously he's still out there ripping people off.

Maybe somebody should give that little [censored] a call.....
-
Whoa! I had a "deal" with Cathi Miller some time ago... you guess it: 2 Oakleys. Interestingly I received them, pretty [censored] up and I don't know if they were genuine, but at least I got something.
But that website and all, that is some VERY interesting information. Maybe someone can get that bastard! He's ripped off too many people now.
