  1. I don't have a problem when somebody posts my pics... I do have a problem when somebody does without telling people where he got them from. I do that too, so IMO it's not too much to ask. @Lancelot: Thanks a LOT for your great tip....
  2. Thought about that quite often.... I think I'll do so in the future. This is actually the first time I found someone using my pics.... Thanks! @Dluddy: Thanks for editing the post.
  3. Yes, the watch in the pics is a gen - I had it for a few weeks and then traded it because the coating wore off on the edge of one of the lugs (probably from strap changing). The Blacksteel is a DLC coated version of the standard Skyland with a different dial (obviously ). I also had this confirmed by Breitling. Cheers, bricky PS: I'd like to have those pics removed..... thanks
  4. Normally I wouldn't care at all.... but when someone uses MY pictures of MY watch without asking me for permission I tend to be a little [censored]. So if somebody would be so kind to remove them....
  5. ?! @mil_sub: Could you elaborate why you post pictures of a watch without asking the owner for permission to do so or at least state where you stole them?
  6. I still check in from time to time.... nice to see that some guys from the old days are still around
  7. Dammit... seems like I missed the party - the guy is banned already.

    Gone

OMG! Just came across this thread... the good old times. It was fun, wasn't it? I miss the Clive and Demsey show. All noobs shall burn! b
  9. Sure.... could it be that all of your knowledge comes from internet boards? Of course there might be one or another salesperson that actually knows something about watches.... but most of them definitely don't. Maybe you should try to get out a bit more......
  10. I don't get it.... why do you guys assume that somebody has knowledge about watches just because he's an AD? They sell watches to make a living, most of them know [censored]-all about what they sell. The chance that an employee of an AD recognizes a fake as a fake is extremely low, unless it's one of those 10$ quartz beaters......
  11. Hi! 1) They're ugly 2) They're ugly 3) They're ugly 4) They're ugly 5) They're ugly Did I mention that those B&R watches are ugly?
  12. Dammit... I said I didn't wanna see it. The problem with this rep is - it really looks like 65 bucks + shipping.
  13. Judging from the pic... And I don't even wanna see the backside.
  14. There definitely is Ken.... and you know that
  15. I'm a bit older now... but they deserve(d) it
  16. Well.. they are certainly true in terms of a working moonphase dial. That doesn't mean the dial shows the correct moonphase. AFAIK those subdials are simply connected to the hour wheel and turn way too fast.... Please correct me if there are reps with correctly working moonphase subdials.
  17. Ah... good times It was fun over there, that's for sure...
  18. Of course you gotta be open about it. I for example never lied about the fact that I wore reps. But wearing them and giving them away are different things for me.
  19. Reps as gifts are definitely a no-go for me. They simply aren't what they might seem to be, and that makes them pretty bad gifts IMO.
  20. Well... they aren't as popular as Rolex, Breitling or IWC - just to name some. I wouldn't call them unknown though. In fact they are quite an extraordinary brand, the idea of making the watches upgradeable by electronic gadgeds (instruments) makes them quite unique.
  21. This watch is 7 years old, beat up and definitely needs a service. 900 Euros aren't an extraordinary deal....
  22. If reps were that good, they'd cost nearly as much as the gens
  23. It was replaced by the Avenger Skyland. Of course many ADs still have the CA in stock but when they're gone, they're gone.
