  1. ya S, W is right. That PVD 389 looks nothing like the gen 389... in fact it's just PVD 305 (don't get me wrong, I love the 305, except for the display case back)

The gen 389 is in a league of it's own, have a look at this and tell me it's not pure awesomeness

Your right it is bloody awesome, love the way the dial and ceramic bezel looks  ;)  had a look at both the 305 and the Noob 360M but the 389 just has something I love  :notworthy:  gonna have to get one and see how it goes!

Thanks for the info P  :inverted: much appreciated !

  2. Thanks so much, means tons to hear things like that.

I'm in the hospital and have had some problems ...that's why I've been inactive. I'm much better now and will be home in a couple days.

Thanks again for the nice words.

    Killer Tudors!!!! :)

I want to have the whole range of snowflake subs ! (oh no here i go again im addicted to these super subs !) :)  :bangin:

It's a sickness mate  :partytime:  love it !

  3. So I've been looking for a Pvd rep for a while and nothing has caught my eye until today, I'm not a major Pam fan but I just clicked onto Puretime and spotted this 389 Pvd and now I'm in love  :notworthy:  http://www.puretime.co/product/pam389-n-luminor-submersible-1950-amagnetic-pvd-on-black-rubber-strap-25j/

I am just wondering if there is any other Pam available similar to this one but maybe a bit smaller, I know I know, but being used to wearing Rolex nearly all the time 47mm takes some getting used to!

I have an 029 which I love but don't wear that often because its a bit dressy in my eyes but the 389 looks spot on as a daily wearer, and it fits a hole in my collection too :inverted:  as always any help appreciated guys, Cheers  :good:

  4. Hey Mate what case are you using mabe i should build a black datesub next

From what we gathered on here this one is based on a phong case, and yes go for it it's a fantastic piece to build   :inverted:  I'm just fitting up a new bracelet on it and having fun with the end links atm !

  5. Kray why did you ask the question in the first place   :g: do your friends regularly open the back on the watch your wearing?

We have advised against Swiss because you may pay for it but not get it or if you do it may not be the best condition movement, you asked, we replied.......tread your own path mate  ;)

  6. My view is the same as some of the guys have already said, we get a fair mix of people on here, some of them will not have the slightest thought to say thanks for something you have shared or indeed done for them, but tbh I'm pretty used to that bringing up 2 teenagers at the moment ;)  what I don't like to see is when a noob (much like myself) comes on and asks a question that is easy to find on the boards, then if they haven't had an answer within an hr or so they start posting smart arse comments like 'supposed to be the friendliest forum on the net, no help to me'  Note to Noobs with questions.......we will all do our best to help but we do sleep ya know  :inverted:  read, read, read and a bit of patience is all you need to get along in the forum, that and the common courtesy of saying a polite 'Thank you' when someone goes out of their way to help you.......my 2c

Oh and another thing too..............................Thank you to all the people that have helped me in the past, you know who you are :notworthy:  and that's the 2nd time !
