I am Definately interested in one dial...I already have EL's newest gen rolesium, also have his older gen model too. This would definatly make our ym's "Ultimates" and I am all for thatOkay, folks. Just as the title says.I'm working with a dial maker, and am exploring the possibility of having a custom made Yacht-Master dial made for the 16622 Rolesium. The dial will be as close to genuine as possible with regards to font, font color, coronet, and markers. This post is ONLY to gauge interest, so please post here if this strikes your fancy
Pricing would be as follows:
If we can get 10 people (i.e. 10 dials) price per dial is $50.00 US.
If the interest is less than 10 people, price per dial is $80.00 US.
Here is the result I am working to achieve with this dial maker...
If interested, please post here. I'm looking to LIMIT this run to 10 pcs max. Once interest has been established, I will start working with my dial guy to sort out specifics/details/etc.
Best regards,
R

Cheers
First things first...
Did you ask Joshua if he could get you another HEV?

sorry cant do wrist shots right now...im back in iraq and wont be back home for a few more monthsYou serious??!!I thought nobody but me could buy it.
Would you taking some wrist shots?
-
i have the same one in a white face...its bigger in person than in the pics...the bracelet seems a little flimsey but overall its a nice watch thanks Joshhttp://www.wo-mart.com/product_info.php?ma...products_id=847
Don't you like it?
It's not perfect but enough accurate (date font is too slim..)
I wish to see some pics but i'm afraid i'm the only one who enjoys it and can even consider to buy it.
-
im back in iraq now...i will have to follow up on this in about three more months...Really, do you have a pic of the movement? I don't doubt you at all just curious if they decorated it the same as the seagull movements. Mine definitely came with the chinese 2892 copy. -
It has since transpired that the '2892's in these watches were in fact Seagull ST-18 (licenced?) replicas of the ETA movement. Not a criticism, but in fact a testament to the high quality of the ST-18
Thats odd...mine says "eta" "2892-2"...
-
Not even close. Add the cost of a 2892 movement, replacement caseback (shallower therefor more accurate, and fits now you've got the thinner movement) and maybe replace the watch body seeing as the He valve will still be wrong....
See, these old skool 007 SMPs were value, but I didn't know it at the time. Big mark-ups now for very good reasons, although getting one of the new ones with the He valve in the right place and replacing the face might be an option.......
both of mine that i got from eddie came with eta 2892-2's...so to me they were worth what i paid...
-
it came as you see it, best rep straight outta the box in my opinionSo you bought an original bezel insert and dial?..... or did it came that way? -
Did you get the box and paperwork from Josh too? how much?
i got all my boxsets off of the bay, i think i paid around 30 for this boxset, i bought booklets seperately from someone else on ebay.
-
Absolutely gorgeous!! That bracelet is truly exquisite, and the box set just puts it over the top!
I suspect this will be a limited edition run, and once they're gone, they'll be gone. I may have to pick one up...
I know its hard to see in the pics, but the dial almost matches the interior of the box perfectly, i find myself just sitting and looking at it
-
when do you get the power max status??
i use it as a gif instead of a pic like everyone else uses...more of a joke than anything else
as for the best daytona, well search, search and then search some more...homework is your key to the best anything here

wow, your right...couldnt see the subdials very well at all, pics are too small. but then again, maybe thats the intent.Fake.
1) Poor proportions
2) Bad crown/pushers
and the biggest giveaway of all....
Day/Date subdials
-
unsure, however i am always suspect of "0" bidders...seems like they are phishing for all they can get out of it...also no papers in any of the pics is a little strange.
-
Thanks and yes Kruzer it is a nice change up from what we are use to seeing here...A fabulous rep and welcome break from the typical Rolex or Panerai. -
Niceee!
I love also Tag bracelet, so solid and heavy.
p.s: is it black or blue?
thanks...this one is the blue face, hard to see it in the pics, but in person it is stunning!
-
Yep, ive gone pic crazy today
And you guest it...boxset from the bay
-
This watch needs no introduction. Pics speak for themselves...
Thanks Josh, you are a True Gentleman
And boxset ofcourse, from ebay..
