  1. Okay, folks. Just as the title says.

I'm working with a dial maker, and am exploring the possibility of having a custom made Yacht-Master dial made for the 16622 Rolesium. The dial will be as close to genuine as possible with regards to font, font color, coronet, and markers. This post is ONLY to gauge interest, so please post here if this strikes your fancy

    Pricing would be as follows:

If we can get 10 people (i.e. 10 dials) price per dial is $50.00 US.

If the interest is less than 10 people, price per dial is $80.00 US.

Here is the result I am working to achieve with this dial maker...

If interested, please post here. I'm looking to LIMIT this run to 10 pcs max. Once interest has been established, I will start working with my dial guy to sort out specifics/details/etc.

    Best regards,

    R

I am Definately interested in one dial...I already have EL's newest gen rolesium, also have his older gen model too. This would definatly make our ym's "Ultimates" and I am all for that :thumbsupsmileyanim:
  2. Really, do you have a pic of the movement? I don't doubt you at all just curious if they decorated it the same as the seagull movements. Mine definitely came with the chinese 2892 copy.
im back in iraq now...i will have to follow up on this in about three more months...
  3. Not even close. Add the cost of a 2892 movement, replacement caseback (shallower therefor more accurate, and fits now you've got the thinner movement) and maybe replace the watch body seeing as the He valve will still be wrong....

See, these old skool 007 SMPs were value, but I didn't know it at the time. Big mark-ups now for very good reasons, although getting one of the new ones with the He valve in the right place and replacing the face might be an option.......

both of mine that i got from eddie came with eta 2892-2's...so to me they were worth what i paid...

  4. :o Absolutely gorgeous!! That bracelet is truly exquisite, and the box set just puts it over the top!

I suspect this will be a limited edition run, and once they're gone, they'll be gone. I may have to pick one up...

I know its hard to see in the pics, but the dial almost matches the interior of the box perfectly, i find myself just sitting and looking at it :p
