  1. Very, very nice. The presentation box is a nice touch.

I am curious about the pricing also. I've talked to Sean a few times about some of his watches and I've found his pricing to be somewhat high, enough so that I've never bought from him.

Seans prices pretty much the same as the prices on dealers websites...I can say this though...Sean has never sent me a defective watch, all the watches that i recieved from him have been top notch on quality and in perfect working order.

He is also top notch before, during, and after the sale, so for me he has been awesome :thumbsupsmileyanim:

  2. Hi Kdo,

Is this the one you got? http://www.cqout.com/item.asp?id=1850272...came with box and papers or you had to pay extra for it? very nice...

She says she does not stock 2893's...glad you got one...But I think she is a bit pricey considering she sells the same products we get from our dealers...check the 'new explorer II', I got the same from PT for a lot less and shipped in 3 days to the US. :g:

    Enjoy your watch :victory:

    Alex

This is the one i got from her 2 yrs ago..i paid 400.00 then, and yes she is alittle higher than most dealers here, but that was before i found out about these kick ass forums :yeah:

its the only watch i bought from her, maybe we could ask her if she'd be interested in becoming a dealer here. I was impressed with her customer service :D

and no, all of my boxsets were sourced thru members on ebay...

  3. Glad you liked 'em. This is what I did, no rocket science here.

    Load Photoshop and the picture

1 .Click "Image -> Adjust -> Auto Levels"

    2. Click "Image -> Image Size -> (insert preferable value here)

    3. Click "Filter -> Sharpen -> Unsharp mask (value 0.2) -> OK (I use this, it's not necessary but it gives me good results)

    3. Overwrite

Easy as that. The white balance in your camera is off... when you shoot in the bathroom or any other place with fluorescent light just choose that option from your camera. "Auto Levels" in Photoshop fixes the white balance quite well though (in most cases).

    Good luck practicing. ;)

Thanks By-Tor, im going to try it later today...
  4. Nice big pics! Why did you leave the bezelprotector on?

Thanks, sorry there so big...still trying to figure out how to get them right for everyone to enjoy...and no real reason why i left the bezel protector on...guess im a little embarrased about the color of it...i have a nice one that i ordered from ofrei. i just need to put it on, but it looks alot better than the one on it now.

  5. Great watch indeed. But the presentation of your pics sucked. And the white balance and contrast levels were off...and they need to be resized to max 800x something to get them properly viewable.

I wanted to see this beauty properly (I'm sure others too) so I fixed the shots (somewhat). Took me 2 minutes. Hope you don't mind. ;)

  6. Its too bad that sorting centers are being closed, and others are being forced to be much more strict on package inspections.

It is even worse that the avarage persona here take for granite how difficult and risky it is just for our dealers here to do business.

And thirdly, I just want to say that I appreciate everything that the dealers here have done for me and everyone else.

It is also dissapointing to see that it is becoming more difficult to get watches out of the country, and I hope that our dealers will do everything they can to continue to keep the prices reasonable.

I love my collection, and will continue to for a long time to come.

I will be home for a short vacation from my deployment in a few more days. I will have a LOT of pics for the forum then. I am excited to get home not just for the watches, but for my better half too :)

  7. hmm...

I emailed eddie and asked him if he carried this one a few days ago. He said yes, but to wait for one with a solid caseback.

However, this genuine omega model does come with a display back...

I ordered one from Sean :), whom ive bought from in the past. Hes a solid, honest dealer and a great person.
