Im a noob, and what I really like about this forum is the friendliness and willingness to educate. I have asked lots of questions, some dumb and poorly researched. I have bought 7 watches in a few months too, and not regretted a single transaction. I ask less dumb questions now, and have developed a very healthy respect for the forum and its members. I reckon if a [censored] list is startd, well emd up with dicks adding decent peeps to the list, then peeps defending those peeps, then flamewars. Pretty soon everyone will be on the list and/or have left and morale will be screwed. At least, thats what Foghorn Leghorn said when I asked him.

thamks dudes, interesting feedback... re movement reviews and Mr watchbitz, all useful, but still looks like only way to get a watch repared or fixed is to send to the esteemed Zigg.
Cheers

hi guys Im a noob, tho in the last couple of months have bought a gen muhle glaschutte, a beautiful omega po ( thanks unixshrk) a nife parnis portugueser (thanks dutchguy2) and a lovely breitling tourbillon (cheers matador), plus a chrnoswiss homage from military time. all imspired by a friend bringing me back an omega copy back from bali, which died when i dropped it...
given i cant find anyone in australia to repair them and it is difficult to justify the cost of repair anyway, what do you do?
buy cheap and throw away, but have a less sexy looking watch, or spemd more on something more 1 to 1? If the latter, is there any guaramtee it will last longer?

Cajt say ive had that one, but Belgiam witbier is my absolute favourite style

I havent smoked one for ages, but Montecristo, Cohiba and Romeo y Julietta are all favourites

i reckon the opus is decent, but have only jad it once. Agreed on the spanish wines, have had a stack recently that were exceptional value, esp a Pago de Moncayo
