does that curvex have a decorated rotor? the 2892 18k rg casa (with decorated rotor) is my most fav rep i own! and i own a modded 1680 from ubi and a 063 with 2893.

Has anyone else ordered this watch. I spoke to Joshua and he said that it is available in this dial and in a white dial with blue hands. There was alot of information on the 18K Casablanca so it was easy to decide, for this one not much has been said. Could someone please give their opinion on how good is this rep?

I had recently ordered a franck muller 18k casablanca, but after hearing from the dealer it has come to my attention that the watch has not yet been cleared by customs in taiwan and might be confisticated. I saw this other watch on josh's site and wanted to get some opinions on this watch, any idea how good it is when compared to the gen? is it as good as the one that was offered by eddie before...

This is quite normal.

Sometimes you have the watch on your wrist, before the tracking status is updated.

Just heard from the dealer, the watch is still stuck at customs at taiwan and if it is not cleared in the coming week it will be confisticated...any chances of it getting cleared?

I had recently ordered a franck muller from one of our very trusted dealers..everything went of smoothly, the only thing i wanted to enquire about was that the watch was shipped on the 9th of January and i still havent recieved it. I am currently, living in the UK and the watch is supposedly coming from taiwan. Even when i enter the tracking number on track-trace the sheet is blank and says nothing. Could someone please help me...is this normal, i have been trying to contact the dealer as well but he doesnt seem to be responding to my emails..

Sorry to bother you all with a stupid question, but since this is my first shipment i dont know how it works. Once i enter the number im probably taking to the taiwan postal service website...with fields like acceptance..office of destination..dispatch number..flight number etc. However, none of the fields or any other fields is filled..its like a blank form. Is this normal or should i contact the dealer..it was shipped out on the 9th of jan

I know ive been posting alot of posts...im just a newbie and just got introduced to the rep world. I was just about to pull the triger for the ladies datejust and thought its always best to take one final opion of our experts on rwg. Could someone please spot out the difference between the two watches... One i know is the differnce in movement.. EL uses the 2671-2 and Josh uses the 2688.. Also there is a major price difference between the two so please..EL has quoted a price of 435 while Josh is more expensive. Could someone please tell me why the price differnce..is Josh's watch actually superior and worth it.. Attaching along the url of both dealers.. Please advise as to which one i should go for and why..thankss a ton you guys

All three are excellent and you've already found one of our best dealers, you can't go wrong with any of them. Pull the trigger because all 3 are bullseyes. I own all 3 plus the all gold 18k FM.

My Brothers not really skinyy and he's just 21, i feel the PO might be a better option..what do you suggest. And also, should i get them serviced before i buy them or just get it done later

I just ordered the FM Solid Gold Casablanca from eddie for myself. Now, even my kid brother wants a nice replica for himself. The choices i have are the Breitling Navtime serie speciale (swiss 7750), the Ultimate PO, and the IWC Ingenieur. Now if the experts around here could pls guide me and advise me as to which is the best replica in terms of accuracy, reliability and also which watch do you think would last the longest. Also, if you could please refer to which dealer i should go for each watch that you feel would be best. If there is any other rep which you feel is better please feel free to let me know. Ask Eddie for the "solid gold" TT ladies DJ. May not be real solid gold but color is perfect. Also the date font is very accurate. Tell him you want the same he sold to me.

But doesnt the colour come off after a little while. Also any idea how the finish is on the solid gold and also how is the date font on the solid gold one...how different is the color in the solid gold when compared to the gen

I just recently purchased a FM solid gold from EL. Since the 2892-2 decorated was not available,i had to settle in for a 2824 movement. Would it be possible for you to replace the 2824-2 with a 2892-2(decorated if possible)..

I was looking for the 2892 decorated ..solid gold 18k franck muller casablance. I got in touch with eddie but he says he doesnt have anymore of those left..he only has the 2824 version of the watch. Could previous buyers single out the differences between the 2 watches and if there is any difference in the accuracy, reliability and life of the watch. Also isthe 2824 decorated and if you guys know of anyone selling the 2892 decorated in solid 18k gold

I'd say the SS version is probably common enough that your favorite dealer, whoever it might be, can probably get it for you. My main advice, either in SS or 18k, would be to get the 2824 and spend the change on a nice strap.

I put together the group buy on the 18k and was hugely relieved that it is every bit as nice as EL's pics with the exception of the buckle, which the more I look at it, the more I notice is not as nicely finished as the rest of the watch. (I'm assured it is solid gold, though, and others who bought it think it's fine.)

The rep is a copy of the precious metal casablancas made from the beginning through 2002, when they went to all SS and introduced a separate line of precious metal curvex dress watches. If you go to the search page and type in "18k AND muller" filtered by my user name, you'll easily find the long group buy thread with all the info you need (weight, sizes, and lots of pics).

A quick version: Case, back, and crown are all dead, on 1:1. Dial good enough that I'm not even going to bother to install the gen dial I had ready to drop in. Hands are much better than the ones on the SS version, and are really blued, but probably are not as nice as OEM side by side. Strap is genuine croc but the watch deserves better. It occurs to me now that the serial # is probably too high, if you even care about that which you should have no reason to.

I know Paul sells it, but reports about his reliability are mixed. I highly reccomend eddie and jos, either of whom will probably be able to get one if they do not already have it in stock.

So you are saying i just ask eddie or josh if they have an accurate version of the 2852 casablanca..? I am actually wanting the solid gold by EL but he has only one piece left and i wont be getting back home till the 8th of Jan. What are your inputs on the accuracy of that piece? from what i have been reading from other posts, they say its one of the best reps available
