  1. Because the case is a much more subtle "tell" than the shape of the 6 and 9. Same goes for the lume, in the daylight, you wouldn't be able to tell. You'd nearly need to have a pic of a real Pre-A case or an actual watch side by side with the rep to spot the differences.

    Sorry to correct you ,

but Pre-a cases are the same cases as the A-D cases.

Here we are talking about Pre-Vendome !

Pre-Vendome has nothing to do with Pre-A.

A Pre-Vendome case has very easy visible differences to the Pre-A or actual Luminor cases.

  2. I wouldn't worry about the lume, fellas. Anyone "in the know" enough to recognize the 201/A as a 15 yr old watch will know it's a rep, anyway.

Despite the 6 and 9 needing to be a little flatter, I think this watch is gorgeous overall. Nice work DSN! The text on the dial looks GREAT.

Yes , simply because the case is wrong (even when the lugs a shorter and more curved) ,

but when you argue that way, why than flatten 6 and 9 ?

  3. Nice watch davidsen,

But beside the CG issue others mentioned already, please change the lume!

This watch is a rep of a 14 years old Pam with tritium dial, the gen never did glow like yours, even when it was new.

And Tritium after this long time does not glow anymore.

I`m really a fan of some of your watches and already bought from you , but that lume is ridiculous.

  4. ...."All comments are welcomed".

    Ok, my comment is:

What should I do with a correct dial, if the case isn`t ?

Next step should be a proper pre-Vendome case , cause it`s visible different from the cases you use for your Pre-vendome, Pre-A and contemporary

    Luminors replicas.

    Just my 2c

    Regards

  5. wow very nice, I waited a long time for a nice SD,

but to make the right decision, I have two questions.

    1. Are the new 1:1 Sea-Dwellers all the same ? (trusty, King, Josh etc.)

    2. Is this the Sea-dweller king is selling as " 353-SEA DWELLER " ?

    Thx in advance

  6. The 4 Euros are just the cost of blank DW.

The glueing work it's something that I do, but I don't add any fee for it.

On this project the problem was the overlay issue...

To avoid members to send me their DWs, in order to print directly over them, I decided to produce new overlays.

This costs me around 7/8 euros each, but I actually added only 5 Euros to the original price of 40

  7. I believe The Zigmeister's advice is Correct Hand stack [top ( min/Gmt/Hr/Dial) bottom] aka" Hr hand Adj" is not well made.

Steve, I think if the Gmt hand is closest to Dial.....it should be the Incorrect hand stack model aka "Gmt hand Adj" :g:

Correct hand stack for the EX II is from dial to crystal:

    Hour

    GMT

    Minute

    Sec
