  1. Hi all. My v2 top gun strap is cracking round the hole i use and I'm seeing the top layer looks like plastic.

Been googling but anyone have a recommendation of where to get a good replacement?

Could be kevlar, nylon or sail cloth.

    Cheers.

  2. So - I have a V2 IWC Top Gun. Was serviced and all works well.

I wear it, take it off, leave on table, and next day date and day have rolled over fine (although date still chanegs at 02.30!!)

I put it on the winder (currently set to vary between clockwise and anti clockwise), and it holds reserve, date changes, but DAY doesn't!!!

Odd - anyone have an idea of reason for this?

  3. So i had a bad fitting end link. Popped it off and saw the springbarvwas laughable!! Way too short and skinny. Beefier one now one, bracelet cleaned and oiled. Job done!

BUT now waiting to see NOOB offering. Don't read they are doing the Ti version but we'll see!!

  4. Day 2. Came home and it was still ticking. So some power reserve! I was wondering as the rotor doesn't swing completely freely.

I continue to be intrigued on the hands and am convinced now they are angled up from centre out. Wondering if I dare crack it open and try to flatten them??

Speaking of this. To open the caseback? Same tools as per UPO? And any necessary precautions fot Ti comparwd to SD??

  5. So yesterday I spent the day wearing my new PO Ti Blue (done a short post yesterday).

However same day my PAM299K from Torro arrived so today I'm wearing that.....

    What can I say?

Dealer - F.A.B - NO problems, great comms, QA pics, etc etc etc.

    Watch - SICK!

Arrived well protected and with bracelet tool and bezel protector.
After unwrapping, opinion was 'this is QUALITY'! Lume is fine. No defects.

EVERYTHING about it feels right and of high quality. It's been well reviewed before so I won't bother here.

This is the best feel crown lever I have ever had.

I know some will say the 299N is better and more accurate in some ways, but for the price here this is frankly a complete steal / bargain!!

Couple of dirty fast wristies.....and the best thing about it ......it TELL'S THE TIME !!
