  1. That is not so with my Paul PO (same as this one), it snaps (if you will) and locks into place firmly. I heard this sort of things about the new POs and I suppose I got lucky or you got unlucky
  2. chee guys ya all wrong, it is surely fake, the time is wrong good one ha?
  3. Now, will you do some modding on that guitar?
  4. Not sure who's the alternative dealer round here, could it be the attitude? I didn't crap over your TRC post, ya want me to? Just say so mate, I love cricket.
  5. Every single bloody little detail! This is why I am always after the new generation...
  6. No wonder with this bloody weather....
  7. The date numerals are facing wrong direction, this is same with all versions. Hate to say but Josh has a newer model, with correct "P" and "O" on the caseback. This is the version without "Professional" on the clasp.
  8. I don't know JS about politics, but I am pretty sure Clinton is not President any more, there is an ape-like creature doing the job for quite some time now
  9. Surgical is 420, and this would be nice for a watch. It is nice combo of hardness and eleasticity along with decent rus-resistance.
  10. This is likely if you are allergic to nickel (see http://www.aocd.org/skin/dermatologic_dise...l_allergy.html) and likely they are using low quality steel. It is too soft for 316 (typicaly advertised), hence it could be high in nickel indeed.

  12. I think people basically click on view new posts and thus walk by interesting stuff unaware
  13. ...mmm but do they still have some gold left? Let's rob them, they are violent bastards
  14. Lets have another crusade
  15. He wants to replace his kidneys with Swiss-made ones he got from e-bay and wonders who can do it. The Zigmeister does not do this sort of movements, so anybody else?
  16. I had to do this last week on my PO, took me some time, it is bloody hard to take off these links! But I manged not to damage the bracelet. Brass? Mine is 5th generation from Paul (but I cannot tell it apart from 4th Andrew is selling), in any case these are SS and rock solid, no brass there. However, I tested some time ago steel on one of EL's older Subs, the material is likely to be similar across SS reps, it is relatively soft SS, apparently lower then 316 grade (test is simple, a scrach test with known hardnerss steal pieace), this is why reps are easier to scratch then gens...
  17. A bloody incredible lookin' watch! Can't find this anywhere, River doesn't (yet?) have it on his page...did it come on the brown croc & deployant?
  18. Actually, Josh has some of the best gator straps in 20mm for a very reasonable price. I am just about to order it for my PO. Unfortunately he (or anybody else I know of) does not have the 22mm straps of the same quality for the 45mm PO...but the 20mm ones are smashing
  19. doesn't matter, ETA's factory that makes swiss valjoux 7750 is in China, so it is an 'Asian' whichever way you look at it. Hope it keeps good time, surely looks nice
  20. I just made an order on Aspire (sorry, Wo-mart) few days ago; I didn't have monyebookers account (this sucks buy the way), so I had to first upload the money (still waiting to get through); from Paul's side communication is great, got automatic order confirmation, with order number, then Paul checked what is the monebooker's status, I explaned, he confirmed when the order will ship and how long will it take; I will post when it arrives, but so far looks like very good service. On rust and quality, well, this is another issue, if you go for the new models you should be fine, for instance Paul has the new line of PO's, surely this will not be rusty. As for quality, these are reps, personally I would not bother Josh or Eddie if something boes belly up, my problem really, not that it ever happened. But come on, read posts on Paneriesti site, how many people hoad horrible experience with AD servicing, lets give Paul a break, his prices are so low one should not expect two-year full-service deal
  21. ...not enough the size and dial on PAMs screem 'pocket watch', but this thing...they could just as well put a chain instead of a strap
  22. I am still in dark about the why is "5th generation" any better (if it is) from the 4th, does anybody knows this for fact?
  23. Time to swap the wrist to a bigger one now
  24. Not, it is not! It is a diver's watch, and if your hands aren't really huge, it would look incredibly funny
  25. Guys, does anybody know well the new 45mm PO's, we had loads of detailed reviews on the 42mm version, but I can't seem to pin down as clearly the 45 model; basically is the current version of 45 on the same level as the 4th gen 42? Also, can't seem to be able to find gator straps for the 22mm Omega, only rubber...
