I suppose the stock of display-back models (305 in particular) needs to go before this is advertised, else people will hold on buying those and wait for the new movement...

They are very soft, specially the tan one on the 26, just lovely

243 H should be on that list and most certainly the 187 N

H is better quality, overall, N has better looking bezel, but quality isn't there.

Kevlar strap is worth $20 in my book, the velcro is POS they shoud pay you to pick that up let's alone put it on your wrist!

CC is best option. There is no need to dispute the transaction if you deal with TDs, you will get a refund if watch is not delivered, they have too high reputation risk to gamble with bad customer feedback.

Man, you so right, same experience I have, never f*****g deal with PT, his sales women will screw you up anyway she pleases, the QC pics might be of your watch or of another one she has handy, the watch might or might not work, she'll ship it nevetheless, what a joke! And the kevlar strap 26mm he used to sell is anything but nice, way to hard, impossible to wear -- it was the reason I bougth the 187 from PT, what a mistake... If the 24mm strap is anything like the 26mm I would walk away. Placing my order with Josh, already have the H 243 from him, came before Christmas, perfect in every way

Well, I got that one myself recently. Here is an easy way to tell -- the hide is good, but filling is too stiff, once put on my wrist it gave me a rush (I normally don't suffer from allergies), this is very much not like the OEM or any good quality product. The down side of this test, you have to buy it to know it and suffer the consequences of ownership

London, took under a week to deliver. Came on the "new" rubber strap, I am still looking for a strap to go with it (aside of rubber). This thing looks like a piece of equipment taken from a submarine, a retro submarine that is, so it will have to be a vintage calf of some sort or the original rubber...

I kind of don't like wearing rubber straps, but if I can get an XL OEM for such price might go for it

Forgot to mention that one -- well bezel on mine is firm, so firm it is trully hard to turn it around! There must have been too many criticisms of floppy bezel on the old version that the factory took it a step too far in the right direction and made it too firm. Tried the WD40 but not much has changed, still hard to turn. I prefer the feel of 187, which is very easy to turn but still firm and has nice click sound.

Delivered day before Christmas, what a timing. Ordered from Josh, processes as usual seamless. Firstly, let me mention the rubber strap it came on. Clearly a huge improvement over the previous (plastic) version, this one is either genuine rubber or has quite a bit of rubber content, as it feels pretty "rubbery". It is bit harder than the gen, but otherwise not bad at all. The only problem (at least I had with mine) are the lug holes -- they are too narrow for the tube, and in fact too narrow for the lug screws as well, -- removing them was a bit of a torture... I have nothing against putting rubber on some bodyparts, but not on wrists so this had to be replaced with leather. Still looking for a perfect strap, not an easy watch to strap, but some light brown or ten colour looks best to me. Here is the watch: The overall quality is exceptional, I am inclined to admit the super-high price was well justified. But let me start with the highlight -- the lume. I cannot compare this to anything I saw on a rep before, this is not a lume, it is a torch, I can use it to read a book in dark, simply incredible. Tried to take a lume shot, but it does not even start to describe how good it is: Now, the size comparisons. The 243 is 44mm, but this watch is known to appear larger than it really is, even though its face is smaller than a face of typical 44mm marina. Let me start with a comparison with other 44mm pams, here is a family shot: It does seem larger than other 44mm, the 250 coming close but still visually smaller (clearly all cases are of the same size!). 243 is tickest, but this does not come in play in frontal photos -- even ignoring the tickness, the 243 design makes it visually larger. Next, let's compare it with the fiddy, which is 47mm: Seems comparable, though 2mm smaller. Tickness -- similar. Finally, comapred with a monster of 50mm it does look smaller: On my 8" wrist it looks just right, though 187 seems a better fit, but one thing for sure -- the rubber strap while pretty looking on pictures does not look any good on the wrist .

Duno how he does it, but I suppose it has to be re-cupping or some sort.

Surprisingly how many people pick on the CG lever, for me the sticking out CP is the first thing that poke my eye. Lever fix should be easy, for CP it will have to go to Domi

They could brash the bezel using finer sand paper it seems, but otherwise looks good -- questions to answer how tick is the crystal, how the bazel markers were attached, and is the AR really "as per genuine". I will take it apart when it arrives and report here. Did they say anything about the rubber strap being new? The old stock was terrible, crap plastic. Visually this one looks more "rubbery", but what can one tell from pictures...

Looks definitively better on the QC pics than on dealer pics -- bezel seems pretty good actually, markers are fine. The CP sticks out, but this can be fixed; rollerball is bit odd. Don't see any blue tint in the cyclops, this means they might have finally made it properly... The lever is wrong, it was not a photoshop, the gap is too wide. I am going to order one to check it out, damn the price, but what is the probability N-factory will make a better one and sell it for less?

In summary, the problems known so far: Excellent price (for a car, not a rep watch!) CG lever -- too pointy and too far away from the case Cannon pin -- protruding in a very noticeable way, mod necessary (add £50 to the price!) Suspected issues: Crystal unlikely of correct thickness The H-factory colourless AR -- double sided AR that easily scratches Lume colour bit on the green side (hard to tell on poor quality pics) Bezel construction -- markers most likely glued in rather than bolted

Its the "best Pam ever made" The price should also include the CP fix (say £50 or so unless DIY). Not sure about the lume, seems way too green in those photos too, so perhaps a relume job on the top as well...
