  1. I think the Pro I bracelet is the best fit, though calf would look good too.
  2. OK you run at something really remarkable like this hog, and what you do, shot it? Great. It could have been a different story, "giant hog ate a stupid kid"
  3. Few people indicated this is not their cup of tea, but thinking about it, the case might be used as a pot actually
  4. I believe her former housekeeper might be somewhat reluctant...
  5. Whoa, duno about TTK, but my opinion surely changed, talking about watch photography
  6. O yeah, we did; otherwise the subject line would be "Anybody heard from N... lately?" This kind of thing is strange, I always have good communication with the Chinese (say) collectors, never had a problem like that...
  7. Basically, what happens in such cases is that you can recognise an expensive watch, that's all -- if the person wearing it does not match the class of the watch, conclusion is usually that the watch must be fake; to be honest I had such impression a number of times, but I keep the conclusion for myself, announcing it publicly in a party is really stupid.
  8. This is clearly a fraud. Ebay is full of scams like this...
  9. You should have asked him how did he spot that bazel does not turn like the gen from 5 yards distance? This guy was guessing, if your rep had Asian 7750 in it, it would have sunken date weal, now that would be easy to spot, but the crap this guy was saying is just nonsense.
  10. How about few more pics? I believe somebody pointed out this one might have been seen elsewhere, perhaps lets remove this doubt first ha?
  11. Don't think steriods come cheap either
  12. He is doing another Rambo, no [censored]? Wasn't the Rocky enough? Dear Good! BTW I loved first Rambo, but too much is too much, people need to know when to quit...
  13. That's interesting. I recently saw a biker wearing Seawolf, OK not a very expensive watch, but still, what is my impression? Must be gen, why -- well the guy looks nuts, full of tatoos, driving a Harley, which surely costs more then the watch, and this sort of foks are serious about some items, they go at extra length to get the right stuff, right? Well that is my impression, I would bet it was a genuine, whether the guy sold some drogs, robbed a jewlery store, or whether he's a rock star, he surely has the means of obtaining a genuine watch.
  14. Strictly speaking, he did say he is self employed, now that does not exclude the rock star profession
  15. I was always wondering who on Earth will every buy this from Josh (pretty sure it is his version), but now I know the answer, who ever said spending money for reps does not pay off?
  16. Never seen this elswhere. What's the problem with Joshua's version?
  17. Given it is only 120m water resistant, I am not sure this would be necessary...
  18. Duno about US pricing, but stay away from Vista unles you have loads of RAM. I'd recommend IBM or Toshiba if on the budget.
  19. It was such a good idea to put re-directing on the forum, so many brilliant people...
  20. Where exactly is the ETA factory in Swiss? Well, it is not there, trust me. Has not been there for some years now, it is in the same place where most Seiko factories are, and IBM factories, etc. Yeah, you got it. So gen ETA might be made in China, but by ETA specs and in ETA factories, good enough for me. How about cases? Who think they are making them on the coast of Geneva lake? Have you ever been to Swizerland? They don't have any production there, likely is that those very expensive PAMs are manufactured not too far away from Andrew's factory somewhere in China, of course, the specs and QC is what matters not the place where it is made. The small issue of "Swiss made" legal requirement can be resolved in a number of ways...perhaps they use a screwdriver made in Zurich to regulate the movement, or leave the watch next to a piece of original Swiss cheese over night, but producing all that in Switzerland, that would be the day...perhaps it was once upon the time...
  21. I would say you have either "expensive" look or "cheap" look, no difference if it was a Sub or AP ROO, if you are percieved as not very rich type of a guy, Sub or PAM or AP whatever you sport around will be assumed fake, if you are on the moeny or give such impression, a good watch is believable, no matter the brand; you can always find a good price second hand AP, it does not matter if it is 22k or 4k, it is just an "expensive watch".
  22. I must agree, it affected me but only for the models I like, so I got PO and Steelfish for that reason, and holding back on several models I really like but are not yet "super". It kind of affects the trigger behaviour, I am more likely to wait for the ultimate version now then before, we all believed that 42mm 4th gen. PO will be as close it will ever get, but then they did it, and did they indeed. Well, let's wait for an ultimate PAM, not seen one yet, or an AP ROO...
