  1. The CG is ticker from the front side as on manual PAMs. The "ultimate" cartel version (Angus has it too) is I-series, yes.
  2. For the 088, the K series introduced ticker (front raised) crown guard and new lug pins, no change in dial. This year's (L series) came with slightly different strap (tan alligator with deployant), but the case is the same as K series. K and L series, as far as I know, were not replicated; the best rep so far is of the I series.
  3. This happened to me once, the sender declared the actual price ($140) of a strap, which was above the tax-free limit and thus it attracted a customs charge. I think this sort of thing happens automatically if declared price is too high, or if it was not declared in the first place...
  4. Limited experience here, but good with a fountain pen Cartier rep from Josh, it was one of the more expensive one, I am using it every day for nearly two years now, works like a dream. Now thinking of getting an MB rep too. I noticed Paul has different models then Josh, so not sure, but those from PC I can strongly recommend
  5. Ya serious? Why would they modify so much, why not just copy the entire site with all the pictures? I don't understand the logic here...
  6. This does not look right, he has models that were long sold out there, this is not looking right, anybody familiar with this site?
  7. Haven't seen this before, seems Josh has another site: http://www.perfecttrend.com/
  8. Panatime? No need to ask, the best service, great quality, ultimate strap shop!
  9. 1) Not all rep rubber straps are of good quality, you need to ask for "ultimate rubber strap"; 2) No. The gen is 24/22, reps are all 24/24, nobody yet made an accurate SS bracelet; 3) Yes, there are few dealers that carry special models/quality (e.g. DSN, LH), but standard models are usually available from most dealers on this board.
  10. 88 = double luck and getting twice as rich, on our money by the way
  11. This is positive news. Now, somebody tell me who can service these movements in UK? EU?
  12. How about Timex? Even better, Casio G-Shock (does not break down when you run through window glass or fall down the stars). He asked for a watch a banker would wear, well these days it would not be a Patek
  13. I would disagree about Breitling, IWC, and Panerai, at least here in London these are very recognisable brands (second to Rolex). Omega would be another one. I see at least one of these brands every morning when going to work. On the other hand the only big "British" brand, Graham, is probably completely unknown here, don't think anybody would recognise it in a million years...
  14. Typically, it should say next awaiting for customs charging and then it will be released, this will be on the tracker regardless what is the package and whether HM customs will do anything about it. Generally, a single watch should not attract any charges, they know these are fakes and of little value, I never heard of anybody being charged in UK. Exception would be only if you try to import a full suitcase of fake watches, that would be different story. And I don't think they will be opening your package, well you will know what trouble would that be when you receive it
  15. What does it say, "awaiting customs charging" or something like that? That is normal, will be released in couple of days, no worries.
  16. Nice watch, but how can anybody mistake it for genuine when is on such rubbish fake strap, this can be spotted from miles away?
  17. Just another word of warning -- a valid form of ID for RM is a utility bill or bank statement (I always use phone bill or gas bill to pick up my packages -- unless the rules have changed this must still be the valid practice), hence if somebody steals the red "missed delivery card" from one's mailbox, then nothing stops him to steal a bill or another piece of mail. Remarkable enough, Royal Mail will accept that other piece of stolen mail as the proof of ID. Though this type of fraud never happened to me, I had a strange experience with RM, I once received the delivery card, and when I called to arrange re-delivery they told me that (unfortunately) the postman has lost the package...only thing I could do was to contact the sender and notify him that shipment was not delivered...btw it was an auto part not a watch...
  18. Hmm, not so sure about that, high price is one thing, selling it is another; I doubt they will sell much of these, so what will they take to the bank?
  19. Some autos can't be hand wound too -- some Seikos for example.
  20. I guess ya have to blow up something really big to get that many
