  1. Seen these two deep sea dwellers on Trevor times site, apart from the movements inside of them what's the difference in the casing of the watches and the bracelet, curious because IM thinking of buying the cheaper on and then maybe putting another movement in it but really it's the casing of these two that I wanna know the difference

  2. Thanks for the above Duke, you've reassured me, im definetly going for this submariner now,i liked it from the moment i saw it but weren't 100 percent sure but now i am, thanks friend

The site perfectly legit, its run and owned by Trevor time, ive bought watches from him on a few occasion, Trevor is a trusted dealer and very understanding and any purchases you make will go smoothly, Hess an absolute hoot to deal with only one thing about old Trevor, he can be a bit slow in replying to your emails lol, apart from that Hess cool.

  3. I'm not really an expert far from it in fact but I do have a fetish about the pearls lol, well I'll say one thing depending on how good the guy is at the AS he or she would always be able to differentiate between replica and gen, if they can't then they got no right working there lol, but that's with experts in terms of average Joe in the street then no bloody way would they be able to tell even on close inspection until they actually open the back of the case to look at the movement,I will say of you do walk in to an AS just do long as you don't get too close then I highly doubt that they would be able to tell the difference,I walked in to my local Rolex dealer and the old man said nice ceramic, lets just say I changed the subject quickly lol

Meant AD not AS, bloody Swype lol

  4. I looked every where on the internet so in the end I went to a watch dealer who also does restoring, and after making small chit chat with him I asked if he would consider selling me some of that satin block,I will say one thing at all times do not press form hard on the watch surface,I used an almost light buffing technique and you know what it also got rid of my scratches that the scotch BRITE couldn't take off

  5. In terms of pearl, no one gets It right at the moment, there all just too dark looking at completely out of shape, they don't even resemble the genuine pearls in anyway what so ever, it's not even a hard thing to get right, sorry old boy.

To be honest I made a better pearl then the onethat came on my Rolex sub c,I managed to get the colour right and the dome affect, though it's far from perfect

  6. Hi guys I've been doing some more work restoring that satin finish, it's become a bit of a fetish with me lol,I bought a satin refinishing block and got to work with it on the sub, have to say it's done a million times better job than using scotch BRITE, judge for yourself guys

  7. Look sunshine I've been comparing this to my uncles genuine ceramic sub and apart from the Bezel insert, pearl, solid end links and a slight discrepancy on the latch on the clasp this watch is identical, even wearing it and feeling it you can't tell the difference between this and the genuine one, one thing I noticed on the genuine is that the edges seem to be rounded were as on mine the edges are quite sharp,I weighed both watches and they came up identical on the scales at hundred and fifty grams
