thx for the bk exp ii tip. when I was saying about a cheaper gen case I just meant if there was another model of gen rolex case with the same sort of specs that was a lot more common place than gmt cases.

Hi, I would like a franken that accepts gen parts, however I know there aren't any gmt reps to use as a starter watch. Is there another Rolex base that can be used/converted to accept oem gmt parts? or on the other hand is there a a cheap gen case (cheaper than gmt) that can be converted to look like a gmt case and accept other gmt parts?? thanks ps also open to getting pm'd with any offers on anyone's existing projects they're willing to offload
