As for my hair.... well I aint got none to worry about....
Mate.... I still remember that toasting you did.... which I loved....
But this is lovely .... it really reminds me of those early OP prototypes you see now and again but never went into production...
I really like the strap combo stitching really pulls out the hands... and the choice of hands really lifts the dial.... overall I really like it.... another great idea realised...
I would have no problem wearing it... though I must admit I would want to take the shine off the PVD finish....
Great work F and thanks for sharing... you have done it to me again mate.....
Thanks, Mate.....Baldies think alike
I love the proto too...
Any modder sells this dial?
Hard to find this sucker......I believe there's only two of us here who's got this model!

That's taking 'sterility' to a whole new level, amigo What did you do?
Soaked everything on 100% Clorux......after 15min check, all looked good......30 mins.....the Bezel insert was well done, so I took that out.....an hour later, dial and hads looks good, so let it stay overnight........
Next day all the paint except the Lume were floating on top! The minute hand's lume got bleached a bit......oh well, another experience gained! Looks cool, though, if I may say so!

It started as looking like this:
Came out looking like this:

When Sly ordered Panerai to build him a white dialed PAM......Panerai was much oblidge.....
Here's the first prototype:
He didn't like it and sent it back! I love this version!
.....this is what Sly settled for:
It's ok, but not so great IMHO......
He should order this, too......and call it PAM207B on PVD Case:
My Prototype on a PAM359 Strap:
I like it, but I think the Sec hand should really match the rest of the Hands and the strap stitching! So back to the bench.......
and here's the final PAM207B in PVD Case, with matching hands:
The Purists would probably pull their hair off......but I love it!
Thanks for looking!

Plaifender, you have my attention! Does anyone know of a good service vendor (Watchman?) in the NYC or Westchester County NY area? Oh, and what should this service typically cost?
Hi Susan,
Welcome to RWG!
On this Forum and most of North America, we only trust the Zigmeister with our watches, I suggest you contact him.....BTW, he's in Canada, but we all have shipped to him and back with no problems!
PM Zigmeister
Good luck,

Now that's what you call a very constructive analysis of a Pre-V PAM...........thanks. You learn something everyday.
Question though, how can you tell an H1 and an H3 CP if one has to install it on a Pre-V Model? What would be the tell tale give?
