  1. Happy Birthday Surashu!

  2. Happy Birthday Surashu!

  3. Happy Birthday Surashu!

  4. $483 with shipping to the UK. I have also seen different colour date wheels on the gens.
  5. Not sure which factory it is from, it doesn't say on Andrews' site. I bought it because to my eyes it looks closest to the gen. Only thing missing is the vanilla smell of the gen strap
  6. Thank you! You are right about Andrew, got another watch ordered already
  7. Had a go with my brothers camera but I have no clue about the settings on an SLR so just used the Auto mode. Took about 40 pictures and these are the only ones that are not blurred! I gave the watch a light dusting but man these pictures really show up all the little bits of dust and lint. Would hate to be a photographer!
  8. I have no idea! I am new to Hublot so not 100% sure what you mean, I think Rose Gold plated steel for the case and then Ceramic for the Bezel?
  9. In person the rose gold looks great, really solid. As far as the dial goes I have been looking backwards and forwards between the gen picture and the watch and I cannot see any stand out differences but that is my untrained eyes. Unless you overlay two pictures or start measuring with a micrometer I think it is pretty accurate?
  10. This is the gen watch I wanted for a while now: I searched around and found it on Andrews' site : http://www.ttw168.co...roducts_id=9455 A few days later it was being picked up by DHL and then 3 days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday!!) to my door in England Here it is out of the box! Should have given it a blast with some compressed air! Not the best pictures I know but so far it is running great and I am very happy.
  11. Seriously, I have no photo skills (see my AP Safari Thread!) Just luck when using my brothers camera! I really do enjoy this watch though! Thanks, it has the 6497 handwind movement and runs at 21,600 bph. I really like taking it off and winding it up in front of people to show it off! I bought mine from here http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_49&products_id=8149 perfect transaction!
  12. I think the rep strap that came with the watch is a closer match to the gen strap but I think the AP Bands strap is better than both of them on looks with the edges looking way better and the feel of the leather is much nicer. When you compare the AP Bands strap at $350 to the gen strap at $650 its a complete bargain in my opinion.
  13. I have applied a tiny amount of olive oil with my finger to the horns and let it dry for 24 hours and I think it looks great. I also rounded off the tips of the chrono pushers. I tried using my brothers 5D again but I got the settings all wrong! Here are the pictures anyway! I think I should stick to iPhone photography!
