  1. $483 with shipping to the UK. I have also seen different colour date wheels on the gens.
  2. Not sure which factory it is from, it doesn't say on Andrews' site. I bought it because to my eyes it looks closest to the gen. Only thing missing is the vanilla smell of the gen strap
  3. Thank you! You are right about Andrew, got another watch ordered already
  4. Had a go with my brothers camera but I have no clue about the settings on an SLR so just used the Auto mode. Took about 40 pictures and these are the only ones that are not blurred! I gave the watch a light dusting but man these pictures really show up all the little bits of dust and lint. Would hate to be a photographer!
  5. I have no idea! I am new to Hublot so not 100% sure what you mean, I think Rose Gold plated steel for the case and then Ceramic for the Bezel?
  6. In person the rose gold looks great, really solid. As far as the dial goes I have been looking backwards and forwards between the gen picture and the watch and I cannot see any stand out differences but that is my untrained eyes. Unless you overlay two pictures or start measuring with a micrometer I think it is pretty accurate?
  7. This is the gen watch I wanted for a while now: I searched around and found it on Andrews' site : http://www.ttw168.co...roducts_id=9455 A few days later it was being picked up by DHL and then 3 days (Saturday, Sunday, Monday!!) to my door in England Here it is out of the box! Should have given it a blast with some compressed air! Not the best pictures I know but so far it is running great and I am very happy.
  8. Seriously, I have no photo skills (see my AP Safari Thread!) Just luck when using my brothers camera! I really do enjoy this watch though! Thanks, it has the 6497 handwind movement and runs at 21,600 bph. I really like taking it off and winding it up in front of people to show it off! I bought mine from here http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37_49&products_id=8149 perfect transaction!
  9. I think the rep strap that came with the watch is a closer match to the gen strap but I think the AP Bands strap is better than both of them on looks with the edges looking way better and the feel of the leather is much nicer. When you compare the AP Bands strap at $350 to the gen strap at $650 its a complete bargain in my opinion.
  10. I have applied a tiny amount of olive oil with my finger to the horns and let it dry for 24 hours and I think it looks great. I also rounded off the tips of the chrono pushers. I tried using my brothers 5D again but I got the settings all wrong! Here are the pictures anyway! I think I should stick to iPhone photography!
  11. Great pictures! Really nice color combo you have now, loving that watch That rep strap really sucks! Just as bad as my safari one. Did you have any issues getting the lug screws back in with the HK strap? Was a pain for me with the safari!
  12. Really nice looking straps and some great pictures! Are you using spring bar lugs or screw in and out each time to change?
  13. Got my AP Bands strap, went with the Light Brown Hornback. Fitting it was a bit of a pain as the leather is thicker at the end compared to the rep strap so getting the lug screws in was difficult. Needless to say the quality is on a another level and I am very happy! If only the Safari rep was a 1:1 to do the strap justice Crappy pictures for now! I may use some leather conditioner to darken it a tiny bit and go over the horns an extra time for a little definition, what do you think? Edit: Didn't realise quite how bad those pictures would look, iPhone 4S is meant to have a better camera! Ill grab my brothers 5D again in the next few days and get a better picture!
  14. One read of the 150 picture teardown review and I had to have one! http://www.rwg.cc/topic/138469-the-ultimate-pam111m-teardown-review-150-images/ You will be buying a Noob 111M after that
  15. Very nice! Would be great to do a side by side with the rep strap to show just how good it is
  16. Received it today from Andrew, I must say this Noob model strap is very good, I have a BOB Buffalo Black strap also but I am so impressed with this Rep strap I will keep it on! Sorry about the dirty camera lens, its my brothers 5D and the lens cap on the macro lens was not on and I didn't see how dirty it was until I put everything away and got the pictures on my PC. Click for big pictures! It's my frist Panerai and first manual watch, I can't stop taking it off and looking in the back Waiting for an ultimate 1:1 332 Regatta rep now! Thanks
  17. Thanks! Just been checking it via this website http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=136 and holding it still its running spot on. To think I almost bought a used gen for 15 times the price of rep+strap is crazy. I can see how people get addicted to this rep collecting Got a 111M on the way now also!
  18. Yeah its defiantly nice and creamy in real life, I just used my brothers 5D and don't know the settings to use to make it look good . Ill get a good picture when I have the AP Bands strap! Also the watch seems to be running a little slow but in the QC picture it was +7sec/day. Lost about 5 seconds in the last hour, Any ideas? Should I manually wind it up from the crown at all? Thanks
  19. Received my watch today (EMS Took only four days) and I'm very happy with it! I have an AP Bands Light Brown hornback strap on the way also but here are a few pictures for now! High res picture here http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/5056/mg8792.jpg
  20. I have a Genuine Kirium Ti5 Chronograph that I bought in 2003 and the strap has just about had it (See Links for Pictures) http://img684.images...1/img0145ob.jpg http://img600.images...1/img0147uv.jpg http://img542.images...79/img0148l.jpg I just want to know if anyone could point me in the right direction for a rep strap that will do the job before I fork out for a new gen strap instead of another new rep watch Thanks!
  21. Thanks a lot for the advice, Very helpful!
  22. I have not yet received QC pictures but I suspect I will be asked not to share them when I do get them. Been researching all weekend on what to lookout for so I think I will be OK. I will post my own pictures when I get the watch.
  23. Thanks for the responses, I have not had any QC pictures sent yet, just want to check on here before the pictures arrive so I could get a fast response back to the dealer. I just don't want to miss anything in the QC pictures due to my inexperience with replicas.
