Hi guys

What are my options for improving the crystal on the UPO besides replacing with gen. Im still trying to be optimistic and hope I get it back from MD2020 where I had gen dial, hands and crown fitted. 

I've discovered that sunny doesn't do them anymore, anyone else? or does the crystal from CrPO fit as I could buy one from a TD perhaps

I was issued a refund from Ryan @ intime because factory had no stock and then shortly after received another mail saying there was stock. I ended up ordering from Joshua @ PC had all colours except yellow. 268+25 shipping. Should be on its way

My UPO had a yellow mark on bezel - i picked up on QC but was assured it was fine. Then my CrPO had mark on the seconds hand and the pearl ended up falling apart. The CrPO issues were rectified when I sent it back. I know back in the day Andrew and Joshua were the go to guys but now there seem to be new players like Toro and Ryan, just hope they havn't dropped the ball or even worse end up with all the crap stock.

Why don't you try contacting Toro.

He sourced a yellow one for me just a little over a week ago.

Toro only has the Swiss in yellow and 1 Asian in white. Joshua just replied he has all but yellow so will place order with him. Last 2 watches I recieved from Joshua have had marks on them so really wanted to try another TD, oh well 3rd time lucky

Just been informed by Ryan that factory has no stock not even the blue I ordered

By the way I have decided to sell my ceramic PO. It is in mint condition, not much wrist time and with this improved bezel it really looks great. I've purchased a superocean 44 and this will get most wear. I also dont feel that comfortable wearing the ceramic in terms of it being a high end model and looking high end, especially with the orange numbers imho, it is a 7K watch here but thats just me  . PM me if interested

Superocean Abyss 44

Ive checked with most TD's and those that have responded have advised no stock. I'm leaning toward the blue now but unsure as the blue is supposed to be off. If anyone has the blue and can comment. I'm quiet picky so don't want it to be the one thing that I always look at

Hi guys, Never really been into the Breitlings seemed to bling to me until  I saw the SO.. Wow such a beautiful watch and so simple. Seen the side by side of gen vs rep and wow 

I checked with Joshua @ PC on the yellow and he said no stock and no longer made?? I really had heart set on the yellow seems to pop more against the black. Next was thinking blue but read that the seconds and dial colours don't match.

Anyone know if yellow still around (also dont want to end up with rejected stock either ) and the blue is ok, heard its a darker blue too.

I have a received a replacement insert and would like to protect it with some finish too BUT I like the way the ceramic reacts to water as it changes colour and also like how you can rub scratches out. This will no doubt be lost with a clear coat of some sort. 

Avoid the "relumer" in Greece at all costs. ruined my UPO and forced me to go gen dial.

Looks good to me with the exception of maybe the date? looks to be sitting not centered but just could be the angle

Just some more updates on my CrPO.. So to recap I had mark on the seconds hand, the lume fell out and I recieved replacement hand and bezel including pearl. BUT the pearl has fallen out of the new bezel and I have not even fitted it yet. I literally put it down on the table and it fell right out! and of course the other issue is the fading triangle and numbers on the insert. See pics

So I sent an email to Joshua and he has advised to send the watch back and he will let the factory sort it out. I've told him I dont want the watch back unless these parts have been improved and if it means I have to wait for the noob version than so be it. I know shouldnt send watch back to china but I'm going to risk it, i mean i dont see any other option without it costing me $$

Here is the replacement insert. Is the plastic bit the epoxy? It doesn't look like it. Looks like the powder sat in the metal ring and then this plastic piece went over the top but nothing else. Wasnt the pearl very different to this in the UPO? It wasnt as cheap!

If you guys go and intentional rub it .. Even the genuine will fade ..

You may have list a few compliants .. But I have sold more than 1000 ..

Maker has sold close to 5000 .. Is this alarming ?

 

In anycase I did reflect the problem to the maker earlier on ..

When this thread populates I shall forward to him. 

My watch has seen nothing but mild soapy water and microfiber cloth for drying.
