  1. Maybe it's got to do with being able to sell more if 'improvements' are released in stages rather than coming out with the 'ultimate' on the first try.

Kind of like software? - planned obsolescence - they earn more by slowly releasing v1, v2, etc than giving you that ultimate v20 straightway.

That or these vintage models aren't exactly their bestsellers and hence not worth that much effort in QC.

  2. Vintage subs are like fine well - they age well, and can almost only get better with age and careful use.

I don't think modern subs would ever see the kind of provenance Their predecessors did.

They hark back to an era where watches were used and even abused, yet kept on ticking with single-minded purpose.

    That's class.

  3. I think being able to own such an accurate rep isn't meant to fool anyone, but rather to have the satisfaction that it's as close to the gen that we can achieve - and frankly it's no shame owning a rep of such an iconic piece - simply because such a gen piece may never be available to the 99% of real Pam fans like us.

  4. I'm a 6.3inch and I think it looks fine - sometimes the length of your forearm counts too not just wrist size - longer forearms can help to "balance" out a thinner wrist and make it look more proportional.

Why do you think stick thin supermodels still look good wearing pammies??
