Hi friends, I have always been dealing with Andrew. But I feel like he sometimes ask much more for the same watch. I think they are 100% the same. I don't understand why the 2836 is $120 more expensive then the 2813 anyway. Since an Asian 2836 is only about 50 bucks af far as I know. Thanks.

it's not worth it at all

It's the classic SD from Andrew. Not the vintage. I removed it really easy with a hairdryer.When the glue gets hot you can turn the insert a couple of rounds and then it pop's up.

Thanks!! I thought it was the same proces since TC has a link to this vid as well. I assume his cases are different. Anyway.. I will try to pull out the insert that way. The pearl got lost.. that's why I need a new bezel. I would be very pleased if somebody knows a good source for a classic SD insert btw. thanks

Hi folks, I get my knife underneath the bezel but I can't lift it. Even with a lot of pressure. I'm affraid I will mess it up if I any harder.. In this video it's seems quite easy.. But unfortunately it's not that easy. What should I do? thanks

Hi all, After some days swimming with my SD the pearl got lost.. So I'm searching on the bay for a new insert but can't find much. Some are really expensive. As far as I know the Sub insert will not fit the SD, right? I see. So they are the same? The funny thing is that they all specific say "full ceramic case", but I have never seen them with a SS case? Maybe the ones from watcheden.. And what about the Top Gun logo's? Some are really perfect, others are messed up. Are they modified after of is it more a change of luck? Thanks again.

Hi fellows, I just ordered this Top Gun V1 from Andrew: http://www.trustytim...roducts_id=3420 This one should be the best Top Gun available. But I have seen pictures from Top Gun reps where the pushers are a little bit brown tinted with no shine at all. These ones often don't have a really deep black case but a bit dull and no equal finish. Look at these QC pics for example. Also many Top Guns have a really messed up Top Gun logo at the side.Bad painting.. Now I actually don't want a piece like that... Are there really better pieces around or are is this just because of the lighting circumstances? This piece for example. It's a V1 case and case is ceramic.. but why does it looks so much better then that one below? Both are V1 full ceramic. Nice Ugly... V1 + super lume... case does not seems to be deep black as should be.. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. Very clarifying. So you mean the gold movement vs. the real swiss eta which add an extra charge of $90 above on the gold movement? If both are good movements and make the second hand move like a gen, then I go for the cheaper Chinese movement.. I really don't care about how the movement looks since you don't see it.. But from what I have read on repgeek.. there are many flaws on the ceramic sub: So unfortunately I have skipped the ceramic Sub. I am going for the default Sub which has much less flaws as fas as I know.. Not sure which one yet..
