Take the $250+ watch, replace movement from some swiss or 7750 to Asian 21j and bam, you have a $148 or cheaper watch. Or maybe a jap quartz that more people can afford.

This have happened to me during a 6 month period, I started ordering to another address for another 6 months and then tried to my regular shipping address again and it was back to normal. Give it a try.

Yes. Standard rep lume. Sometimes they claim that the watch have superlume witch typically means slightly better than standard. If you need better you need to send the watch to a modder that takes the watch apart, removes the old lume and applies new and improved lume. Last time i asked one it was like $150 if i recall it correct. I have tried on some watches and it takes wast amounts of skill and practise to get it as perfect as i suppose you want it.

Not much really. Probably the parcel is lying around waiting for its turn to be processed while the workers are having lunch or something... Some of mine us shipments have been like that for 3-4 days.

Good looking boxes those rainer boxes! I will replace the one i got from one of the cheaper dealers on ebay, Payed $12 for box with six compartments. Plastic seethrough window and didnt fit watches bigger than 44mm. Its not easy to chose from the thousands available when new in the repgame

Fyi, i tried to get some of the lumers around, vaclume and some others to lume my watch with trithium tubes and none of them want to touch the watch they simply state: i dont work with trithium watches. And this was with trithium secured in tubes on a dial in a watch that are supposed to be bulletproof...

So now Im trying to learn it myself.

My first post here! Woho i collected all kinds of watches in the late 80s but got other hobbies in the 90s. A year ago one of my kids borrowed my Tissot prs200. After that my precious Tissot never recovered. Since it would cost me around 200$ to get a local watch shop to fix it i thought id get a new one instead.

I realised i need a new, fresh (for me) watch and did a google session to search for some nice reps, forums and reliable shops and here i am!

I thought i was aiming for a breitling or tag heuer chrono maybe automatic. Instead i got stuck in the Audemars Piguet section, I didnt know much about AP whatches before but after getting to know them i had to get a rep, Royal Oak Offshore Rubens Barrichello Chrono is the version.

We will se for how long Now i only have to wait for the shipment to arrive....
