  1. Beautiful photos of a stunning watch, wear it well and be proud! She's a work of art.
  2. My lighting isn't is a bit off. The face is a very bright snow white and crisp looking. The steel rings on the chronograph are sharp and shinny. I'm also surprised at how bright the lume is. I have to say, I'm pretty impressed at the detail in this little guy. Since this is my first rep I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. I didn't think I'd get a horrible watch, but I can't say I expected something with such great detail. I'm going to turn my attention to getting to know the movement for the next few weeks. But from the surface, this is definitely a keeper.
  3. Not in EU, California here. You know, I like to think I'm mechanically inclined. I've been reading a lot from The Zigmeister and I've read a lot of Freddy's grafite treatment. I'm going to do a lot more homework and try to tackle this myself. There is a future with these reps and hopefully a few gens and I'd like to know my way around them. So get used to me fellas. Good news though, I picked up my daytona from the post yesterday and it's beautiful. Joshua is a great businessman and I can't thank him enough for my purchase. I took it in to get it sized and the watch store had a white daytona used in their case. The dealer was very nice and I was upfront with him. I asked if I could compare it next to the real deal he had and it was spot on. The gen was on the lighter side, but I do prefer the heft of the rep. Other than that the rolex crown in the face was a little more refined next to the rep, but without being side by side you'd never know. I'm going to be posting pics tomorrow.
  4. Irvine here!!! Redwatch, how did your repairs go? Could you please PM the repair guys you've used? Thanks Sir!!
  5. Awesome, thanks Freddy! I will search them now. I've been reading through various A7750 threads and started think I have bit off more than I can chew. But I'm sure all will be fine, I'm trying to not let my ecitment get the best of me. I really want to take the time to make sure my first rep is a great experience. Josh has already started me off on the right track. He was very patient with the hand holding I needed.
  6. Amazing!!! Thanks for both the help and the reason I didn't do anything at work today. Awesome write up and so helpful. You da man!!
  7. Hi All! I've been haunting this forum for a couple years now and finally pulled the trigger. I ordered a white face Daytona from Joshua and I received the package delivery tag on my door yesterday. I can't wait to pick up my watch from the post office in the morning. I'll post pics the moment I unwrap her. Question though, is there anything you all would recommend doing with a fresh out the box rep? I know I've read the bracelets usually need to be soaked in oil. Also, this is my first automatic... My daily driver right now is a gen breitling colt quartz. Any tips, tricks or hints would be very much appreciated. Stay tuned for pics!
