yea, he is one of the eBay guys that sells "refinished" dials printed with the Swiss ink. they aren't perfect by any means but are interesting none the less. I pulled the trigger on a dial from one of the eBay guys the other day, figured for a couple hundred bucks is worth a shot. based on shots I've seen it looks a lot more like gold printed on the plate and not negative relief but there is a charm to appearance nonetheless, despite the inaccuracies to gen. here's a couple shots of the one I picked up, I'll throw out some more when I get it in hand.

what are people thinking about the bezel work? to me it seems the most critical / precise part of the build, attempting to do it "by hand" would likely just ruin a piece as "sharp" as this, and likely the hardest part to get done. curious if pbdad could get it done, know he is working on a TM build for aphillipe....

I can talk to helenarou and see if I can get a discount. Anyone else interested?

I absolutely love it, I think they finally nailed the modern with the vintage essence. Would be totally doable by teaming up some of our modders here. IMHO, odd as it is, it seems that getting the bezel right, specifically that red triangle perfect,is one of the hardest parts, at that size and color anything but flawless is very obvious. Curious how the case/chamfers would compare spec wise to what PbDad is doing with his HS.
