Hi guys, sorry but currently I don't accpet jobs... I have way too many currently and I try not to compromise quality. I ask patience to all. If you're in a hurry, please contact someone else to build your dream watch.
Thank you for your kind understanding !!!! I wish I could help everybody as it's a real pleasure for me to communicate with nice people and assist them in getting their grail piece !!! But I have only two hands... 😅 And I refuse to do sloppy work in a hurry.

Here is one of the most difficult Rolex reference to get: the 1019. I has a unique case shape that does not allow using an other ref as a base. Unique crystal size and hands... Everything but the crown differs from all the other refs.
This one was totally custom made, with a very nice case !!! Diameter is correct, and it hosts a genuine vintage T39 !!!! So simple apparently... yet so difficult to get. Enjoy the pictures !

This model needs no introduction... The 7750 powered DW daytona. With the best dial DW ever made.
The dial was tripped to be textured as per the genuine, a gen coronet was fitted and a "vintage" style lume was made. Gen service T21 with the desired "jewel" effect.
Case is stock with just a slight buffing, enhanced by a gen crown... Classic.

Simple and efficient: the last version of the standard 6263.
Note the correct 7 on the bezel insert and the nice font on the dial.
Specs are: Cartel base, DW dial revarnished, relumed and with a genuine coronet, Swiss subsidiary hands, Viet bezel insert, Athaya crown, Cartel and DW links with a genuine clasp for the bracelet. Genuine T21. Case was fully reshaped to be as accurate as can be !

Wow great work !! Thank you for the explanation !
I've always had the question , is the gen rolex caliber individually engraved with a serial number and if so is this number the same one engraved between the lugs ?
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkNo. There is an engine number like on a car, and only rolex archives can tell if it matches the case number. They are not related when made. They only get related after the papers are issued.

The chamfering of the sides looks great ! My TC chamfering was down by PBDad, who did yours ? Also who did the engraving ? It's very well made. I'm getting a gen crown and tube because stock TC sucks.
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkEngravings are done by Neckyzips but you need to refinish the case first as surface is concave on those cases, like on most rolex reps... After the engravings the final brushing is done. Only that way will you have that result ! So it's a three step work.

Now... This one was something !!! And the result is worth every drop of sweat !!!! The case polishing was redone twice untill I could achieve the crisp edges I was after to match the great Phong bezel featuring a too nice finish to be repolished "aged" style. So: aim was NOS condition ! No the easiest aim...
Mid case and case back are cartel. the caseback was shaved to achieve the super low dome shape of the genuine watch -cartel original shape it much too thick- and the mid case was considerably modified on the CG side.
Dial was an adventure too: custom made on a ETA plate. Over 6 month of waiting... Anyways :no glued on dial !!!! Super sharp fit with a date that snaps at midnight and will never get caught rubbing the dial. Lume was done as thin as possible to accomodate the hands stack: Needles are straight. Not bent up to accomodate the lume...
In short: it's as perfect as can be using a ETA machine.
Genuine crystal, cartel hands (from an other model. The ugly oversized case one... purchased for the hands only!)
Enjoy the pictures !!!!

Yes, Viet cases are the best base but it has a price tag... However: deep reshaping of a cartel case by shaving it and engraving it brings you pretty near that price ! There are no big savings to do that way if you want your built to be presentable...
That case belongs to a client. It was retailed by Phong and was really worn. I did not do anything between the lugs. I reworked the sides and carved the CG as those details were off. As well as the top of the lugs: the big flaw of Viet cases.
