  1. While the 2824 may work, the stem height is different than the 2836/2846 and is not your best bet for the Josh 5512 case. For a 28,800 bph movement, go for the 2836. For 21.6k, go for the 2846. Dial feet positions are the same for the movements and the 2824 and they will have the correct stem height for the Josh case. The rest look fine. Yuki's dial are a nice, and I have a blue Yuki 9401 (no-date) dial I'm about to sell since I picked up a gen 9401 service dial. However, if you want a decent dial this seller has some snowflake dials for sale. Jmb used one in a build and seemed pleased with the results.

  2. I would be interested in this solution as well. The Asian 3135 is too expensive as you can't buy it without buying a whole watch, plus it does not seem to be terribly well built. The biggest problem though is likely that the stems are not like any other and impossible to source from anywhere else.

  3. Just to share some more experiences in this thread: my Josh 5512 is less than two months old and I recently tried to fit an Ofrei T19 to it. I cracked the crystal trying to get the retaining ring on it. I just received my Clark T19 today and the retaining ring fits like a glove. Going to try to finish my Tudor 9401 build this one. Anyone know if the Yuki 9401 caseback will fit the josh case, and if so, is it any good?

  4. Hey guys, just joined recently and am going to get started on my first watch pretty soon. I've got a couple of old ETA movements on the way that I plan to put to work in Tudor subs - probably a 9401 to start, followed by a 9411. Anyway, I would really like to have a Tudor Prince Date Chrono (pre-Tiger) and have tried to dig around and find some info on the best place to start. I've seen a few original dials on Ebay but they seem a bit pricey (around $300 USD) and I'd want to use a genuine ETA/Valjoux 7750 movement. So I guess I am asking what would be a good starting point for a case? I've seen a couple of Daytona reps but none have the proper Tudor Chrono bezel (at least that I've seen). Is there a case that will allow a drop-in 7750 + genuine dial? What about the proper crystal, as the Daytona doesn't have a date mag?

Thanks for the help. I am a Tudor fanatic and would appreciate the info!
