Hi guys I'm finding it hard to find a strap maker that has stock or availability of a rep JV strap like the one below.. Any of you know of anyone in the uk who can do these?

I emailed orloff and he doesn't have a JV style strap, and it doesn't seem as if he will be able to make one or me either - all he said was "here are the straps I have available to buy" and gave me a link. Who is peterwatch?

The JV strap is definitely a nice combination of 'suede-like' look and the ruggedness of a croc strap.. Thanks for that, I didn't know about it. Even tho it's prob too much for me, how much would the Gen strap be?

This might have already been suggested, but I had a thought, as a noob, that it would be nice to have a section for different guides on how to do different aspects of the hobby... Simple things like changing out straps, the tools used, steps taken, to more complicated movement servicing etc.. I wouldn't be able to make any substantial contribution to this actual section just yet though, as I have only just begun, but I'm sure there are more than enough knowledgable people on here that would be able to to make it worthwhile? Any thoughts are welcome.

Hey all, I dunno if this is the right place to be putting this, but as its pam related I thought as much.. I'm getting an 026k soon, but looking into getting a new strap for it. I know what the ass strap looks like on it, and that's high up on my list, but I was wondering what other straps suit the V1, like a brown croc strap? Just wanted to see if y'all could give me some inspiration as to what i want to get for it... So, show it off!

Who's orloff? Also, where is the best place to source a buckle for the strap?

Quick question from a noob, I'm looking at buying a v1/2 026k for my first pam, and I really like the look of the ass strap for it, but couldn't afford the gen. I see that Joshua has a rep of it, and also kurvasit too, but are they the same? Or if anyone has any experience of them, which is better?

Rolex just doesn't excite me.. Dunno why, I'm sure I'll get that bug soon too. I was looking at the 42mm PO, possibly with a brown croc strap..?

I was wondering if you wonderful people would help me at all... As it stands, I just have the one rep, being the full ceramic HBB Ayrton Senna Rattrapante from Joshua (utter noob just starting out) I'm looking at buying my second rep, and i can't seem to decide on one particular one i want. I have a few options, but I'm very much open to ideas that may be better... My budget is around the $350 mark. i've looked at the 026k panerai with the addition of an assolutamente strap, a rose gold HBB, or a Frank Muller, so a good bit of variety there... Thanks in advance for any help / other suggestions.

Got my first rep from Joshua, after a browse around his site, and here, I went for the HBB Ayrton Senna. Just arrived today, so haven't got around to take any decent photos of it just yet, but here you go:

Lol Hublot emailed me back, and I think they're sending me out a new "H" screwdriver and spare screws in the post. Either that or they're going to track me down! Lol they wanted my address.
