  1. Thank you all for your replies. Jkay, my worry is not the money. It is the hassle of changing the movement (which takes a lot of time) and finding that it has stopped working after a week.
  2. The reason that I didn't get it from Cousins is that I am in California. I have spoken to the dealer (actually a reputable watch part trader on the net) late Friday afternoon. He shut down their computer system fro the weekend. He is going to call me on Monday.
  3. Hi folks, What has been your experience with DG 2813. I have heard horror stories about this movement, which is suppose to be a "better" Miyota 8215 movement. It seems that they come completely dry with no oil in them. Is this true that it has a very short life? Thanks.

  5. The DG8213 has arrived. Dead! The stem has only 2 positions: setting the time and what is supposed to be setting the date which on turning the crown, makes a grinding noise. I have to talk to the dealer and let him know that the movement is dead. Hope next one will work.
  6. Thank you E for your information. I have difficulty finding parts for Miyota 8215. They all want to sell the whole movement. I've just ordered DG1813 and I am going to give it a try this weekend. Regards, Patek
  7. Hi folks, I have an Invicta Pro Dive with Miyota 8215 movement. The balance hairspring is damaged and I cannot find any place t order the complete balance assembly. I was wondering if anybody has used a DG2813 or DG4813 instead of Miyota 8215? The ligne is the same, the thickness is very slightly different. But I am not sure about the hand size, stem,... Any advice? Thanks.
  8. Hi guys, I managed to ruin my 8125 hairspring but not being careful. Does anybody know where I can get the entire balance assembly (balance wheel, hair spring, regulator, balance c0ck,..) from? Some sites offers the whole movement but I don’t need the whole movement. Thank you in advance for your help.
  9. But look at the regulator. Do you see any swan neck in your movements?
  10. Hi Guys, I had to give up on ETA 2671 (because of unavailability new Asian ETA 2671 and dubious used Swiss ETA 2671) and Rochest advised me to go for a Swiss or Asian ETA 2836-2 for a lady watch. How can I differentiate the two by just looking at the movements? And anybody has experience of having them in terms of reliability? What is the price difference between the two and in your opinion, is it worth the price difference to go for the Swiss version? Thanks. Quote MultiQuote Edit
  11. Hello everyone, Has any body bought this Patek? I like to know the exact size of it. TDs have them between 40 and 43 mm. I have e-mailed a couple of them, but they don't know it since they don't have the watch at hand. Also is there any ST19 movements with the Swan Neck Regulators in the guise of a PP? Thanks.
  12. Hello Members, I am a new members but I have been collecting watches for a while. I am interested in a rep PP with date-moon phase with ST19 (which is miss-labeled 'Lemania'). I like the balance [censored] to have a swan neck regulator. The watch that I like is : And the movement like this: Any ideas? Thanks.
  13. I found these picture on the sister forum rwgboard.com: http://www.rwgboard.com/board/index.php?showtopic=23970&hl=lemania&fromsearch=1 This certainly is a ST19 with swan neck regulator. Any TD have this movement in a PP chrono with date and moon phase?
  14. Hi cougar1, My question was if this picture is a picture of gen Lange or a picture of S19 movement with swan neck regulator. I haven't come across any S19 (mistakenly labeled Lemania) in this type of configuration. If there is such a S19 movements, do you any rep that have that?
  15. Hi, Is this the picture of a replica movement (ST19) with swan neck regulator and decoration or this is the genuine Lange?
