  1. Greetings I've been near Koblenz last week.
  2. Hey, thanks for the quick replies so far. I will search for the Thread of Francisco. I think I will try to let the daytona repair if it doesn't cost too much, otherwise it will live a sad life in my display case. It's just too well made to get rid of it. So it shouldn't be a problem with the chronographs at the 3 and 6 or is that quite irrelevant to the lifetime of the movement?
  3. Hey guys, since around 1.5 years i'm owning a white Daytona with an Asian 7750 movement. After around a year the movement started to make problems. Sometimes it just stops, even when I'm wearing the watch. It's totally different how the watch/movement acts. Sometimes I can wear it half a day without bigger problems but sometimes it just stops after 30 mins. I'm afraid now of wearing it, because I have the feeling to look at my watch every minute and check if it stopped already again. Walking around with a not working Rolex is a shame and I think people would find out quick that it's a rep then. I talked to a clock mechanic and he said thats a common problem at the asian movements at to repair it would cost at least 150$ and theres no guarantee that it will really work properly or start again making problems quickly. I have now heard that its mostly a problem when the asian movement is modified so the second hand is at the 6 and there are less problems with movements when the second hand is at the 9. I'm now thinking of getting a Breitling Chronomat with a second hand at the 9 and the chronograph at the 3 and 6. Do i really have better chances that it will work for more than a year? A friend of mine has a TAG Heuer Carrera, he bought it together with me at the same shop as my Rolex and it works still really good and he's wearing the watch daily. Since good reps aren't really cheap either (compared to a normal watch) I want at least a lifetime of 3-5 years on a rep, is that possible? Thanks and greetings.
  4. Thanks for the nice welcoming. I'm sure I will find what I am looking for.
  5. Hello guys, I'm from germany and 31 years old. I'd just like to get some watches and since I don't want to buy at a not trusted dealer, I would like to get some informations here of where I can buy quality watches. At the moment i just have genuine watches, but since i'm not rich nor i'd like to spend thousands of Euros for a watch, I hope to find good rebuildings of the watches. I have just Citizen watches, so nothing special so far but i'm really interested in Breitling and TAG Heuer. Maybe someone can help or tell me where i can find a list of trust sellers. Greetings
